I love the look it's steady and beautiful
The color is nice and it does provide shade. The pole is a flaw, it is relatively flimsy. Other reviewers have complained that it does not have a crank but that is clearly stated in the description. However, the umbrella pole provided was not drilled through for the pin to be inserted.
The umbrella was most difficult to push up because the material is obviously not cut big enough to push up and stay open. I was able to finally push it up to stay only by leaving one of the prongs uncovered by the material that otherwise would allow it to open completely. I wish I had read all the reviews before purchasing this umbrella. Thr material appears to be strong but is obviously cut wrong. It took me a while to realize why I could not open the umbrella completely.
Looks nice once you have the umbrella up. Without a crank this umbrella requires you to push it up while holding the umbrella pole down so you can put a pin through any one of the three pre-drilled holes. If you're not a tall person you'll likely need a step stool to accomplish it. I recommend spending a little more and get an umbrella that's easier to handle.
This umbrella is push up to open style. At first, I thought I wasn't strong enough to open it far enough to place the pin. After several attempts, both on the pole and out of the pole, I figured out the fabric was not big enough for the ribs. I even took the fabric off the ribs and attempted to put back on, but it was clear the fabric just wasn't big enough. I like the color and the wood grain look pole, but it's inoperable.
First of all it's not wood it's steel painted to look like wood. The material is thin there's no tie to keep the umbrella from going up and you have to stand on a chair because there's no pulley for you to set what height you want the umbrella at and of course you have to do the same to close it I'm extremely disappointed I bought two and I ordered a cream or off-white and two beige came so there's I guess I got what I paid for
Difficult to put up. It looks nice when its open but literally my husband has to stand on a ladder to put the pin in. Its almost like its a defect in the pole. I wouldnt recommend this particular umbrella.
There is not a crank or pulley to open the umbrella. Other than standing on the table, you must take down the umbrella, push it down and insert the pin, then place it back up. How crazy is this.
Do not purchase! I just received and I am immediately returning! This item is so cheaply made. Wood grain-my A! Most of it is plastic made to look like wood and it doesnt. The pole has some kind of coating made to look like wood that looks like it will scratch off immediately. Terrible product.
I purchased this umbrella last June and this is the day (07-30) that I'm still waiting for this item. Looking at the reviews I believe that not only this item is going to come when summer is over, but I won't be happy with the quality. Can't understand how something can take so long if is coming from CALIFORNIA!!!! is not coming from China or Australia for god's sake.
