I thought I may not like it since it was black and I was unsure of the knife block. The set actually goes very well with my stainless appliances and my range is black and stainless. The block, is very brag worthy. I like everything about the block. I like how the steak knives are across the front with the scissors in the middle just above, and the other knives on either side. In the middle top of the block, is the knife sharpener. The knives are very sharp so be careful. Also, I like since they are black, they are not going to stain. I've had cream color sets that stain with some fruits and vegetables making them difficult to wash. Included also is seller contact info should you need to contact for any reason. In addition, a little usage information included too. Did I tell you I really really like the knife block. I DO. Good deal.

have been wanting a knife block forever, so when I finally found this 15-piece kitchen knife set available, I jumped on it—and I’m SO glad I did! First thing I noticed when I picked it up was the weight. This set is heavy and feels really nice and sturdy. The knives look great, and they seem to be sharp enough right out of the box. I’ve used them and they cut really well, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The kitchen shears are also surprisingly nice and feel like they’re made well. Everything fits neatly into the block, so it keeps all my knives together and makes my kitchen look a little more organized too. For someone who has been wanting a knife block forever, I couldn’t be happier with this set. I’m really glad I chose this one!

This Astercook knife set with block actually has me very impressed. The quality is actually great. The knifes are super sharp, very sturdy and the handle feels great when using. The built in sharperner is a great addition. For such a budget friendly price, I definitely recommend. I researched this set before purchasing and the most common complaints were the color coating coming off. This can be avoided by not using harsh detergents and wipe or wash immediately after using so there's no soaking in water or having to scrub it. These are very sturdy knifes. I've had many knifes that are flimsy or even bend. NOT these. The company also offers a lifetime warranty on the set. As with any warrenty, restrictions apply. The knife block is nice and keeps all the knives in one place and organized. This would make a great gift idea also. You won't go wrong with this set. I only included a few knives in photo to give you an idea.

When the item arrived, it is as pretty as the picture. The knives are sharp and the knife holder does have a sharpener. It seems durable and I love the scissors.

this is a pretty good entry-level knife set. the knives came very sharp, the handles are weighted well for balance, the block itself is good and heavy. I did notice that when you put a knife back in it's slot, if you miss at all, it marks up the block. the selection is knives should meet the needs of the average household. those who are more experienced with cooking might find they need more than what comes in this set. overall, I think this set is a good value for the money.
