Astercook Sourdough Starter Kit, 56-Piece Bread Making Kit with Round & Oval Bread Proofing Baskets, Complete Sourdough Bread Baking Supplies Set, Perfect Gifts for Beginners & Home Bakers

I bought two of these as gifts. One of them didn’t have the oval banneton included. I wish they would just replace that because I already gave the person their gift but the only way they’re letting me get the item I paid for is to return the whole thing. I’ll update my review if I’m able to if they send me the oval banneton that I paid for.

If you enjoy making your own bread this is perfect for beginners and seasoned bakers I'm a seasoned baker and I really love the kit yes it takes longer to make your sourdough starter but once you've made it you can make sourdough bread all the time I love making all types of bread

i love that you get all the things for sourdough start to finish. it comes with instructions on how to get a starter started, how to assemble your lame and baskets for your dough, bags for youe bread afterwards. I do however wish it came with more detailed instructions, mabey included a few recipies. Instructed folks on how to use their lame, or the stencils included, since it is a starter type kit.

Pleased with items, overall, in sourdough kit I purchased…would repeat-buy,,,except for the absence of a kitchen kevlar(?) glove. Me sliced (almost needing stitches!) me finger(greatly) trying to thread th blade onto th shaft! (For dough decor) DO recommend products, Must Use Caution, though!👍🏻

Did not need and did not open - returned for credit

My measuring cups arrived damaged.

I bought this to make bread. What a wonderful kit with so much in it! Looking at all the measuring gadgets, I thought it would be an awesome gift for a young adult starting out. Love it!

so i waitied awhile to review after i uaed it...well within the first few days the rubber spatula broke the tip piece off. all the measuring cups were marked with the wrong measurements. and handle broke when i use measuring cup!! the silicone mat started fraying on edges after a few uses. i love the bannetons they r made very well considering everything else is cheaply made!! and my dutch wisk thing broke recently after many uses. overall not bad for the money

extremely happy with this set. as a new sourdough baker i needed all the help i could get! great that new bread bags were included along with stickers. bread dough mixer probably best item in box. all in all loved this set!

Wanted to try making sourdough bread this was just what I needed to build my confidence. Took me a few tries to get it right but it was worth the effort.
