This is a great hat. I wore it outside when it was 25° for 2 hours doing yard leaf cleanup. It keeps your entire head warm, head, ears and face. The face cover unsnaps and can be easily washed by hand. The face covering is really nice to have and allows you to breathe in warm air. The ear flaps cover the entire side of your face and you can secure them so they don't blow open using the velcro strap. This is a great hat for anyone who has to be out in the elements for an extended period of time. Buy an extra one to throw on the back of your car in case of an emergency. I highly recommend.

The picture made it look a little better. The Velcro strap needs to have a Velcro strip on the side of the hat to better secure it. For the money it's a good purchase. Took it out in 25-degree weather and it works.

Looks a little better in the picture. The Velcro chin strap could be improved by having a Velcro strip on the side of the hat that it can attach to after it goes through the loop. Much better than a knitted beanie. Just went outside in Ohio - temperature 18, wind 15, chill 5 and it felt warm and comfortable.
