this was a fun puzzle very hard will buy the next one
Love how well these stay together so well and are so sturdy. This one was challenging but not too difficult for a 9 year old. Took him several days to put together.
For a puzzle pro or Harry Potter fan, this is a great gift. It is a difficult thing to put together. Don't expect to do it in a couple days. 3-d puzzles take a different approach to put together than a flat puzzle.
These puzzles are fantastic! My 11 yr old son has been slowly building the entire Harry Potter world. They are great fun and helps with many skills.
live it. difficult not for kids but a challenge and live it
This was a great distraction from the tedium of stay at home orders. It took me about 15-20 hours over about a week to complete it. My daughters love playing Harry Potter games with it now.
This is a Christmas gift for 2021 and I know the recipient will be delighted when the gift is opened!
I bought this 3-D puzzle for my husband and got his evaluation. He found it unique, interesting and quite challenging. The pieces fit very well and the structure was stable enough to lift it onto the top of a bookcase. The instructions are very important... follow them carefully. Also do NOT throw away the box... it is important for showing the different angles of the towers and the details. The only suggestion: there are two sections of the upper part of two minor towers that show the bare foam backing on one side, where that doesn't happen anywhere else in this very detailed structure. It seems like there should be a way to allow for/require two pieces to be placed back to back to consistently show the excellent detail in all visible main surfaces. Overall, excellent product!
Very difficult! Most of the pieces look the same
This description is extremely misleading. It is NOT the Tower AND Great Hall together (even though the description says, "These puzzles assemble into dimensional models of two key locations in the Harry Potter tales; imagine yourself dining with your house inside the 850-piece Great Hall (20" x 15" x 18½") or gazing at the stars in the 875-piece Astronomy Tower (15½" x 13" x 19")." AND "Models attach to each other to create a single structure." The image even shows the two puzzles together. I ordered this after shopping around the Internet looking for a place that sells both puzzles together. My daughter will be heartbroken to discover that this company only sent one, despite advertising both together.
