Asus 17.3 Celeron Chromebook W/mouse Fhd

This Chromebook met all my expectations. It has replaced a much older 15" model and is almost identical. The only reason I upgraded was because my old one was out of date and no longer supported with updates (this should be an illegal practice as it means ostensibly discarding a worthy laptop). Are you listening Google? I'm certain there are faster Chromebooks out there but this is worthy at this price point, actually made it a no-brainer. It's nothing fancy, no backlit keyboard or touch screen, or convertible to tablet. But for a basic CB it's tough to beat. Disclaimer..... I was offered an additional 90 day warranty extension for writing this review from ASUS, but I've not said anything other than what I would have otherwise.

I did not get it when I wanted. All of a sudden it came. It is bigger than a laptop. but it needs to be upgraded to see my bank account online. this is version 91. I can't use it. It needs minimum 100 to use.

I have been waiting to purchase this particular item because my son who works on computers suggested that because of the quality of this Asus product he would recommend purchasing it.

So far so good with the ChromeBook, I thought I would have to learn more about the ChromeBook then a Microsoft Product but it is just a matter of being patient

Good value. Large clear screen, decent camera and although speakers are a bit tinny they are fine. My only issue is that I thought the case was a light gray...but it really is closer to black. Perhaps I had read it was silver from a different vendor? So far, I am very satisfied.

Screen is too dim! Tried adjusting the brightness level already and it's not much help:/ I plan on calling ASUS %26 Perhaps there's a different way to access the foggy screen. (Will certainly revise my review) I do think its a great price for the chrome book! I did add a memory card %26 so far so good. Hopefully I can get the screen brighter.

I had it for 90 days and the screen went black. Customer service provided me with the free shipping label to California and free shipping back. I could not back up my stuff because I guess I don't know how to do that with a black screen. I'm expecting all of my files to be wiped when I get the computer back. Not to mention, this is a process that takes at least three weeks. At least it was under warranty.

you better get the extended warranty from walmart... i bought this on 5/12/23 registered it on 5/14/23. Asus says its out of warrenty.... so the 1 year warrenty is a lie.. i dont have a paper receipt since it was bought online. i was told sorry 4 times before i hung up... last product i will ever buy from them.

This did not last 2 months and the screen went black. Walmart does not take it back after 30 days. Total junk.

Product kept shutting down or going offline which I thought was caused by my server, but today it blew up and ceased to do anything at all less than 4 and a half months after purchase,
