This device really broke my heart. It is a very very nice device in terms of EVERYTHING outside of the thermals. 6900hs + 6800s is just raw power, BUT! Yes here's the but. But it just too WAY too hot to get the max performance out of those chips! I had to be constantly worried about the longevity and performance every time I game and, this is meant to be a gaming device. One possible way to fix all this is just designing more holes in the vents underneath, allowing more airflow and making the system cooler so you can pump more wattage into those exact chips or sticking in some other chips. I gotta say, I really really really loved this device as for it has good looks, good performance, good keyboard, and a very nice trackpad. It was the most painful decision for me to return this device. You guys should really be concerned about the thermals on your laptops as for it makes them extremely attractive. I would even go as far as to say that these rog devices are THE best gaming laptops on the market and I would recommend the people I know to purchase these no-brainer. if only you guys designed the vents on the back better........5 stars and a heartbreak. P.S. please listen to your customers more, as for they are the ones using these devices.

The 2022 Asus G14 is an amazing laptop. Has great battery life and the overall build quality is exceptional. This laptop can do it all from gaming to content creation. If you are looking for a small form factor then this is the size to go with. 14 inch with a 16:10 display that reaches 500 nits can be used anywhere. Highly recommend this laptop as I had other 14 and 15 inch windows based models and this one just blew the away.

This is an excellent desktop replacement as long as you're willing to deal with a bit more fan noise than a desktop would typically produce under load. It has plenty of IO, and has multiple Display Port Out USB connections. It also includes a microSD slot and the bottom is easy to open and upgrade for more RAM or storage. I use it for games and homework at home, and work using separate user profiles for each. The 16:10 aspect ratio is perfect for productivity and the display quality is amazing, it has excellent black levels and minimal ghosting. The keyboard only has one backlight zone (only one color through the whole keyboard, can be color cycled) and the keys feel great for laptop keys. Don't expect it to compare to any decently priced mechanical keyboard, but they have a satisfying bump that instantly registers and isn't so soft that you're accidentally hitting keys all the time. I recommend updating to the latest Radeon drivers, the laptop comes with customized ones from ASUS that have not been updated in some time and have very long update intervals. The built in Adrenalin software will not be able to pull updates, you will have to rely on the Armoury Crate app and MyAsus for updates unless you replace them yourself. Doing so gave me a boost in performance and battery life.

The laptop is great when it comes to gaming, great performance , the display is vivid and the picture is crisp. My only issue is that I cannot get anematrix to work. It's not a huge deal for performance but anematrix was one of the reasons I chose this model over others and the fact that it does not work has been a huge let down

A very nice laptop that i tested on a variety of stuff from Rust to Word, at the higher usage end the fan does get pretty loud but under normal use I can not hear a thing. One disappointing feature was the fun little leds on the cover that turns out just wasn't installed due to some random technicality. Another odd thing i noticed is that user benchmark was saying that the laptop was being hard bottlenecked by the gpu, but i heard that it was supposed to be higher end so i plan to look into it more to see whats wrong

Great computer but you have to do some manual updates on the drivers and the bios. Also, you have to remove a program (had to google it) to fix an issue where the screen doesn't turn back on after you plug/unplug it when it changes the refresh rate. Really frustrating and had a hard time finding the solution - found one on Reddit that fixed the issue. Hardware wise - fantastic system. ASUS software leaves a bit to be desired -especially as it almost made me return my computer if i didn't find the solution online - which is hard to do when your computer screen isn't working.

Love it. It's light, looks cool, runs even heavy games like hogwarts on max settings and rtx on (with upscaling) beautifully, trackpad is the first one I've actually liked on a laptop, screen is beautiful, materials feel good to touch, I love the white finish I'm so tired of black computers, cooling is extremely effective, overall I really love it yall made a great laptop here. My only complaint is the bios issues. Check out reddit and look at the z14 bios stuff. Fix that and you'll have a near perfect machine here!

The laptop has been great. Speed is good enough, graphics are good enough, portability is good enough. I like the keyboard and the trackpad. The problem is the wifi when using 6e is TERRIBLE. I have tried working through various driver versions and other troubleshooting and if it connects using wifi 6 it will not be able to support a simple streaming service, much less playing online games - the ping is crazy. If you force it to use 5ghz then it will be ok but it says its 6e compatible and, right now, its not. I have tried 3 different machines and they all had the same wifi 6 issue. My phone gets 700mb/s and this laptop will only get 140 down and 4 up and ping is crazy (on wifi 6)! wifi 5 works ok but it still only gets 250 both ways while my phone is getting close to a gig.

Let's start with the pros. It looks really good. It very portable. Display is very nice. Excellent picture. Now the cons. Holy hell! This thing gets hotter than anything I've ever owned. 82° C just doing updates. Loaded a game and it hit 92°C and that's with a custom fan curve. It idles in the mid 70s with fans at 100% with a cooling pad blowing full blast under it with 2 additional fans. The laptop is unusable at those temperatures. I ended up returning it after all the updates and 10 minutes of gaming. Performance wise it did great, but at those temperatures I don't see it lasting more than a few months. And at the price it's not worth it at all. Stay away from this product. Period.
