Looks aren't everything, sure it glows but the quality? Hmm very good. I went from having a horrible motherboard and CPU to being able to max my framerate, stream to twitch, and let my iCue run with no issues.
Wanted good solid board that did not break the bank. Am not disappointed. If the Asus board for my AMD wasnt so expensive id toss my Gigabyte Arous Master in the bin. Easy setup. Runs cool. Plenty of usb and some nice effects. Handles my 11th gen just fine.
This is the 6th consecutive ASUS MB that I have purchased and built. This one has 2 M.2 devices out of the 3 slots, It has an Intel I9 installed and I am currently using the video out from the board with no video adapter until the shortages in the supply chain dissipate.
Versatile & powerful motherboard. Looks extremely elegant. Easy to install thanks to the included manual. Started up with no problems & is flawless in operation. Great selection of I/O ports & headers that will accommodate the latest equipment. Very impressed with the overall perfomance & appearance!
I have been using ASUS motherboards and routers for years now. I am very impressed with the workmanship and content of the motherboards. I upgrade my systems every five years. This time I went with the Asus Prime Z590-A motherboard. I am not a gamer but appreciate the performance of the gamers mother boards. I know the Z590 is a middle of the road gamers board, but for me I am very happy with it's performance.
This is my first build in more than 10 years. I read reviews and caught myself up with a little research leading to my purchase of this board and I could not be happier. I tested it first with an i7 10700 and although it performed well some feature were unavailable due to the limited CPU so if you are building with that CPU in mind you may wish to chose a cheaper board. With the i9 11900k I added it absolutely Shines, all the features were available and it was worth every penny. The AI over clocking gives a nice boost without the instability sometimes associated. I often have many browser windows open for research and a stock trading platform (thinkorswim) along with remote desktop connections and sometimes a game all at the same time so I need a fast and stable machine. This is that. I will stick with ASUS on my next build and highly recommend this Asus Prime Z590-A. I am looking forward to my 13th or 14 gen intel/Asus project next.
Got this for a first time build and found it easy to both install into my case (Corsair 5000) and to install needed components/connectors. Only issue is getting ASUS Armoury Crate to properly connect to ARGB devices. When it works, it's great. It is frustrating enough that most times I set the device sync in AC to dark mode. Manual could be better. For a first time builder the diagrams and explanations for cable connections can be a bit confusing and hard to read, especially the case front panel connections. Having a few YouTube videos bookmarked helped out with that.
I own 2 of these motherboards and they allows me to overclock safely a 10700K and 11900K giving me the opportunity to wring all the performance they had to offer. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
A printed out Manual is needed, solid board. have some issues between Thermaltake(sync), Hue and Amoury working together. install was ok however. switches and connectors. not being labeled and having to guess is a problem, this is my first asus board so I'm kinda neutral 3 stars this is my 12 time in 3 day I've had to guess at wiring
One of the best motherboard! I've been using it for a couple weeks now and everything is great! Love the aura sync for my devices too. Too bad can't sync with my razer products though.
