This system works very well so far with zero issues. The configuration is excellent for the price. I was concerned the case ventilation would be a major issue, but for my light gaming use it had not been an issue. I don't know if heavy gaming would be problematic but temperatures have been just fine for my use.
The ROG Strix has amazed me, which is hard since I do 'high-end' digital graphics professionally, and yes I game. Flawlessly running Win11 and pushing Microsoft Flight Simulator, smooth framerate at MFS highest 'ultra settings. No doubt the 64RAM +M2 is a big players here but it more than the RAM to make this particular 'greedy system intensive paly this smooth. The AR aspect of this MFS seems to go hand in hand with this ROG Strix. I edit 360 Video and 360 photography and perform high-end digital editing and absoultly-never have I had such quick response in processing. Stitching together 26 20MB files at 16bit is a strain on any system, but on the ROG Strix it's a treat. A first for me is the builtin WiFi, love it! I use the ROG Strix G10 for my professional graphic high-end digital editing needs and absolutely delighted with this build, never before Has it been this easy to edit. For gaming running Win11 I love it!
I love it, makes for a beautiful peice to my room, it's very powerful, it games real well, even on a very graphics demanding game it runs smooth, couldn't be happier with my Asus ROG strix. Thank you Asus. We are Republic of Gamers.
WOW!! Incredibly fast !!THIS PC ROCKS - BOOT UP < 5 SEC Gaming on RTX 2060S is awesome per my nephew!!
So good deal for so little. thank you!
So far so good. I dropped 1 start off a perfect score because of the price - it went up by $500 in 3-4 months since I found out 4 of our 7 computers were not Win11 complaint. Unfortunately, had to jump on this Christmas day, because my daughters ROG G20AJ died on Christmas eve... system board gave out after 6-7 years of every day use.
Biggest con: might ship or might be cancelled. In 2021, you are rolling the dice. Great bang for the buck in the current component market. Can play Death Stranding at around 60 FPS at 4K, max graphics, with no overheating. However, the air flow is relatively poor in this case, and if you run Folding@Home or are encoding videos, it will get hot. You can drill some holes in the solid front to add another fan, or you can go into the BIOS/UEFI and set the max allowed CPU temperature down to 85 degrees. You will hear the fans, but only under heavy load. It does a good job of turning off under light loads. The CPU cooler is basic, but works. ASUS does not include AMD's stock cooler here, but their own. There are two side panels included. The metal one has a grid of holes in it. The acrylic one leaves and air gap around all four sides when installed. Components are all standard off the shelf ASUS components, will fit any ATX case. The motherboard is a matx ASUS Prime B550M-K: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards-Components/Motherboards/PRIME/PRIME-B550M-K/ However, the mother board does not have all the headers that the off-the shelf version would have. The contacts are there, but the headers just haven't been soldered on along the bottom edge of the board below the card slots. So this mean that if you want to add more fans, that extra header isn't there, and you'll need a fan splitter cable to power it. GPU is a blower Asus 2060 super: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards-Components/Graphics-Cards/Turbo/TURBO-RTX2060S-8G-EVO/ PSU is a Chicony 550 watt bronze. This is the best brand of PSU you've never heard of. They've supplied a lot of other well-known brands of prebuilt PCs over the years. Hope this helps someone out there. Good luck getting one shipped.
I love the components inside the case, but the case itself doesn't provide enough cooling/fans or vents.
I love the spec of this computer (CPU: AMD 5700G, GPU: 2060 Super). However after receiving the desktop, it only has one exhaust (90mm) fan in the back other than CPU fan. There is no way to additional ways to mount fans in this case. Front and Top are solid, so I cannot add fans to cool the computer down. It's like having a performance engine in a car on that cannot support it.
The front cover restricts so much air flow that I'm presently looking for a new case. The Temps are terrible and yall know better
