Asus ROG Strix B550-F GAMING WIFI Desktop Motherboard - AMD Chipset - Socket AM4 - ATX (rogstrixb550fgamingwifiii)

I unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately broke off a few connection pins from my original ASUS Prime mother board, and since my build was 7 years old, this board was an absolute bargain. I just replaced the MB to save the new build for another day. I am absolutely astonished at the difference between these 2 boards. My last one worked fine, but I had no idea that I could have had all of these more modern features, much better BIOS, compatibility with newer technologies (that I already had and just wasn't utilizing). I did a 6E Deco mesh network 2 years ago, that only my work laptop was taking advantage of, and now my personal desktop PC is finally taking advantage of the 2x speed from that previous investment.

I love this motherboard. It has all the features I wanted and the build has turned out awesome. I picked this because I already had my memory so I needed a board that I could utilize it with. This board worked perfectly matched with a Ryzen 5 5600x processor as well.

I've been using the Asus ROG Strix B550-F for a while now, and honestly, it's been one of the best upgrades for my setup. Right out of the box, the build quality feels premium—it's heavy, sturdy, and the design looks absolutely sick through my case window.

Installed this in my new build with no issues. I was nervous after not building a PC after a long time but installation was seamless. I have this motherboard paired with a 9060XT GPU and a 5600x CPU. I've had no issues playing all modern game titles on high and ultra settings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would totally recommend buying this motherboard if you want excellent quality and for cheap, which is crazy because I would expect a cheap motherboard to be built with bad quality, but this one is different! It only has DDR4 so if you want one with DDR5, you have to get the DDR5 version but I am happy where I am with DDR4. So if you are reading this I would definitely buy it because it comes with stickers, WiFi, ASUS WebStorage, and it's own member card and half off of WebStorage and it comes with crazy deals for WebStorage subscription prices for yearly or monthly. So I would definitely recommend buying it!

Easy as Pi :) - clean from ASUS as has been for years. the CPU and Fan slipped into place with ease. The memory stick took some looking but once I realized that only one side had a lever, went right in. the ATX footprint had all the holes in the right place for a solid mount. My RaidMax mid tower does not do the MB justice since the tiny window hides most of the MB Beauty. This thing should be mounted on the wall.

It's a good board, solid features. Military grade good replacement for what I lost has numeral settings. I prefer the aceus UI I'm not so keen on the AI. Features that control the motherboard. I prefer having manual. So if maybe in the future ASUS gives a full manual explanation of like, how gigabyte has the layout where you can manually dial in would prefer that. So however, the board itself is solid. It's good, it's performing well little to no issues. The only issues were that I had is that I find annoying was that when you do a new installation, the network doesn't work. So maybe they might want to make a revision where that does work right off the bat that shouldn't have to be enabled through a driver, cause windows eleven and above now requires you two have a physical running internet connection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the wifi never worked out of the box on the motherboard and i didn't notice one of the wifi antanna connections was loose, and probably broken off the board on the inside which is why it doesn't work. The nvme solid state drive, wont even notice its there, its fully plugged in but it doesn't see it at all, otherwise everything else works.

The board functions great and looks great however, there is so much bloatware that you install one after another especially for rgb which slows down your system and in the end does not work well with your peripherals. In the end you have to use thirds party apps to make everything work together. This is not a cheap motherboard amd for that reason I'm am disappointed with my purchase.

I have spent several hours attempting to resolve an issue with the GPU (NVidia GTX 1080) and the VGA Q-LED error light. I have tried everything and I still cannot resolve it. If I connect my monitor with a HDMI cable it shows the post screen. If I connect my monitor with a DisplayPort cable, the post is bypassed and it goes directly into Windows 11. I have updated the BIOS to the latest version, insured the memory is seated, insured the GPU is seated and even replaced the CPU. None of which has resolved the issue. Based on my research, this is a known issue with this motherboard. You would think ASIS would have a fix for this!
