My last few gaming laptops have been ROG Strix, and none of them have ever disappointed me. This one is sleek, powerful, and runs very graphic-heavy games on ultra - easily. The upgrade to 32GB and 2TB was worth every penny. Had the one I purchased not had 2tb/32GB already on it, that would have been what I would have upgraded, but it did. I do wish I could have gotten the AMD processor with the tool-free open at the bottom, but this model didn't have that option and I wanted the AMD version. I recommend this device, the seller (super-fast shipping), and the brand (returning customer for laptops, motherboards, etc). PS. Picture quality is not a beast as I was limited in upload size. IRL, this laptop has beautiful color and lighting. I use it with a much larger OLED monitor for gaming and graphics work, but the graphics are gorgeous on the laptop too.

The product I bought: ASUS ROG Strix G15, G513RM-WS74 CPU: Ryzen7 6800H GPU: GeForce RTX3060 Memory: 16GB DDR5 4800MHz RAM Storage: 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD Display: 15.6" WQHD (2560*1440), 165Hz, 3ms IPS-Type I did a lot of research and looked at many products. I almost purchased other laptop with the previous generation of CPU (Ryzen 7 5800H) and Memory (DDR4 3200Hz) with a bit cheaper price than this product. But I found this one. Considering this has the latest CPU (Ryzen 7 6800H) and DDR5 Memory, I couldn't find any better deal than this with the price (1300-1400) at the time of the purchase (May, 2022). I am a developer. I installed Ubuntu 22.04 (dual boot with WIndows 11). It works fine. Highly recommend this product. (If you want linux OS, you would need to install one with the newer kernel version so that function keys can work properly.)

I will be forever a fan of these laptops. I can't say enough good things about them. I've been building computers for 3 years. And I can say that these are built well. Not are they only just built well I love how easy they are to roll back in case something doesn't work. The only thing I would recommend is having some kind of coolant or air coolant on the drives themselves like the m.2's

This laptop seems well durable. It is not cheaply built. The screen is clear and vivid. It is extremely fast. I had been using an older laptop and I was so happy with the speed of this one. I love the feel of the keyboard. I do miss the 9 key but I can learn to adapt. I am not a gamer but bought to stream movies and tv on. This is going to work perfectly.

first of all, RGB LIGHTS ON KEYBOARD ARE PERFECT ! I highly recommend this for people who wants a multi-purpose laptop. Only downside is that there is no webcam but ASUS offers 1080p 60fps webcam that are sold separately. Overall, the performance on this gaming laptop is insane. 2 and a half hours max battery life on gaming but when normally browsing, editing, school or work this laptop can last atleast 10 hours straight. Speakers sounds absolutely amazing as well !

This computer played the games well with no issue but after two weeks if i left to idle over an hour the wifi stopped working. Had to do many reset including a network reset. I decided to return it and purcahsed another of the same model. That one lasted 2 weeks before it happened again! The WiFi drivers are funky and keep disconnecting.

Initially, the speed of delivery and the laptop itself were absolutely splendid. However, 13 days into having this computer the HDMI port died. No longer able to project on larger monitors. Called Walmart tech support and was told to call 3rd party company. I did, was told to use manual to fix, no manual shipped in box. Download the manual.....nope. 13 days old. Send me a shipping label to return and ship new computer or refund. Called tech support back, was told this time that since it was through a 3rd party and I paid money to Walmart to bring it in for a refund. Will attempt to get refund today.

I only had it for like 2 months only really useing it to watch youtube and a little twitch. I played games on it mabye twice. I went to turn it on yesterday and it turned on for about 30 seconds then shut its self down. Now when i try to turn it on it gets stuck in a boot loop and gets really hot really quick. Its kept on my desk on a laptop stand so its got good airflow. You would think for $1500 it would atleast last a year

ran fine first 3 days. Then kept disabling the graphics card and resizing the desktop. After several restarts and sending it in to asus they "couldn't find anything" tuns games on max graphics and fps for first three days then down to 4fps since then.
