One of the best GPUs ever built! Paired with the latest components, your build would be considered way above standard. This GPU is able to handle any modern day gaming tasks, and is more than future proof dependent on DLSS. This card is special. The last of its generation before full AI optimization.
AMAZING PRODUCT EVEN BETTER WHEN WATER COOLED. THANK YOU GUYS FIR AN AWESOME GPU. I WISH I HAD THE FUND TO UPGRADE TO A 5090 AND GIVE YOU GUYS AN EVEN BETTER REVIEW. MAYBE ONE DAY!!!??
To start, the ROG STRIX 4090 comes packaged very securely! This was my first ever PC I built myself and this card performs insanely well. I'm on a 4K monitor and on COD and Monster Hunter Wilds with maxed out settings I get over 125 FPS and it's SOOOOOO smooth. It's stays very quiet and cool even when under heavy gaming!
This strix 4090 oc is a beast! I have it at 3150mhz! It is just the cherry on top of my already beautiful RoG/Strix Hyperion build! It not power hungry! No coil whine and the fans are quiet even at high speed! At that clock speed I'm running mid 60's with Oem triple fans. I did not water loop the card! Just amazing card running 128fps with pycho/ultra ray tracing blast in all dlss balanced with path tracing on! This is one beast of a card!
Works amazing! No lag for games while playing with the highest graphic settings, and livestreaming to Twitch and YouTube at the same time. Haven't even tried overclocking yet, but I don't honestly think I'll end up needing to. No noise, fast loading, astounding graphics, amazing GPU overall.
This video card is amazing, I can play any game on a 1440p at 165 hz with ultra settings no issues and honestly, with graphics looking jawdropping and smooth, I actually want to play more LOL. Only game gave me problems still is flight simulator, but thats' more my cpu and mobo being 6th gen, causing bottlenecks. I have a i9-12900k and Z690 mobo ready to build and will update on that, but this is soooo future proof, I don't need a new video card for at least 5 years haha.
Excellent Gaming GPU. Currently best on the market. Literally cannot beat it's performance. Love the RGB lighting effects option, can sync it with the rest of my system.
This card IS great. The quality and performance are not matched elsewhere and it is amazing. The reason this is not 5 stars is because of the price. NVIDIA needs to price things far better to make people (even on the high end) commit to their products long term.
after waiting nearly a month for the replacement it would have been nice to get a new one rather than this very old replacement. the one i had wasn't even a year old.
Extremely nice build quality, and impressive in most ways. Unfortunately, it was rather lousy at memory overclocking. It couldn't handle more than +1200 on memory, so I returned it. I bought it exclusively for overclocked benching and it was not able to meet my expectations. My other 4090 flagship from another brand is the primary competitor to the Strix. It was $300 less and overclocks much better. The Strix was unable to match any of its overclocked benchmark scores due to inferior silicon. A GPU this expensive should have the core and memory binned. It's way too expensive to end up with a silicon lottery loser. That should not be possible in light of the price.
