Issueless Asus

James January 14, 2026

I pick my parts, put them together. I never have any issues. Sometimes I have drivers that need to be downloaded and installed and I go ages without them. But ive been using Asus motherboards only for my builds and never have a problem. I used to even throw them in the kitchen sink with dish soap and scrub them thoroughly, Let them dry for ages and back to business as usual, just shiny as ever and no dust. ASUS ASTRAL 5090, INTEL I9 12900KS, 64G OF CORSAIR RAM, AND A $700 POWER SUPPLY. I never have hardware issues. LOL!!!

Another outstanding product from Asus ROG. This is my 3rd board personally and used for other people's builds. It's great performance and price. Every person and myself love them.

Asus Rog Strix Z690 E-Gaming Wi-Fi Crown Jewel

Darrell Reinbolt February 2, 2022

I love the new generation Motherboard from Asus. The Z690 E-Gaming is the the most feature rich board I have had to date. Definitely nothing to disappoint. The Rog Strix NVMe Card included is a bonus. More overclocking options in the bios a ready to install PCI Express 5 option is a nice touch. Looking very much forward to playing some high end games on this board. I will recommend this Board to anyone wanting to upgrade. Thank You for offering such a spectacular product.

ASUS ROG Strix Z690-E Motherboard with WiFi

Omniscient1 December 11, 2023

Arrived within agreed time constraints. Installed easily following instructions. One caveat: if you want to run fast RAM you’re going to have to upgrade the BIOS before doing so. Some will not be recognized during initial POST and cause a failure. Once BIOS is upgraded- no issues.

The best z690 ROG motherboard out there!

Bigbry567 May 21, 2024

I had z790, but no go because being damage before I got them, so I try z690 and as far I concern its the best motherboard out there. No buy memory that does not work z790 motherboards and being that I spend a lot of money on those z790 motherboards. I thought I try one more on a ASUS and if it did not work, I would of another brand So this one works very good.

Great Gaming motherboard.

Katie C April 24, 2024

The only issue I had with my purchase is that when I installed my Ram chips the board would not post. I followed the recommendation of the ram chips and ensured they were seated properly. I ended up changing the configuration and my board posted and my system was up and running. I love the system I just feel there needs to be a correction made with the ram placement.

Another Great ASUS Product

Kraevac April 30, 2022

I have always loved ASUS products. I especially like the ROG line of products. However, the one thing I have always disliked about ASUS products is their bloat software. With this motherboard, it wasn't so bad. Everything was optional out of the box. I did install Armory Crate to get updated drivers and such, but all of the additional software was optional. Not that the software isn't useful, it just isn't useful to me. I also like that I can use my Corsair iCUE software to control the RGB lighting on the motherboard. I would recommend that you get a full size ATX case for this board. Depending on what you are adding to the case and the type of cooling that you need, a case gets small fast, especially if you have a radiator in your rig.

Ok board but not good

NathanA6177 March 28, 2026

Good board but has issues. Resistors for ram burn fast and render the board useless. Went through 2 of these before giving up

A Gamer 2 January 11, 2022

This is a 2 star review so I am not going to talk about what this does well. 1 I have 5600 Trident Memory. The mother board will not run at XMP instead its underclocking at 4000 mgz. Any setting above this and the mobo will fail to boot and default into recovery mode at 4000 mgz again. 2 The bios and how to use its differnt setting and features is poorly documented. 3 Creation of any raid array apparently implies that all disks must use a raid driver only bypassing things like samsung's hard drive software. 4 ASUS AI overclocking uses settings that are too high for my processor causing it to crash consistantly during games and it won't reduce the OC. You have to disable it to make it stable. 5 Some applications provided by ASUS won't just install form the included CD, ie MYASUS, instead you have to know to look for special online instructions to make it work. 6. Chipset software will not install. Upon going to the intel website to find a driver, intel doesn't appear to have a chipset driver available and the driver provided by ASUS, although listed on the intel website does not list Z690 as a chipset it supports and as a unsuprisingly will not install on the system. Apparently my old Z97 chipset driver, however will and nothing will. Only fall back I have is to install parts of the driver one inf at a time and that doesn't completely address the issue. I am currently reverting to stock CPU clocks to try to get a stable enough platform to game.
