Is the only issue I experience is that since there is no integrated gpu and because of that the battery can be easily drained by the gtx 1080 even on idle and the laptop can accumulate heat even on idle too.

t's the most expensive laptop I've ever bought, and probably will ever buy, and it's very futuristic, with a 1080maxq built into a thin, thin body, but there's a lot of things can be an improvement in the original mold. Pros: The thin and light body design Powerful hardware performance Innovative cooling design/keyboard layout Cons: Battery life is almost non-existent The stereo will resonate with the keyboard and break the sound

Overall I am very pleased, I wanted a thin gaming laptop for travel and to replace my desktop. Spec wise and performance wise this is a great choice. I am especially a fan of the forward keyboard design. Most "gaming" laptops have the track pad under your WASD hand prompting you to either have to turn off your trackpad or deal with annoying taps.The integrated numpad and touchpad is a very nice feature as well, good use of space. If I am nitpicking, I do a lot of network work and wish the numpad had haptic feedback. This machine does a good job of maintaining a consistent temp the cooling is very efficient and I have never exceeded a surface temp of 114f no matter the load.However to achieve this in such a small form factor requires some pretty loud fan action. THis is only really an issue when playing poorly optimized games like Ark. Lastly, I knew I was making sacrifices going with such a slim device, but as a desktop replacement this device wants for ports. The RJ45 port is an included Dongle which eats up one of your precious few ports right out of the gate. I have been unable to find a suitable docking station yet to meet my needs so i am using a powered USB 3.0 hub. For reference I have the following devices that need ports. Device has 4 USB3.0 and 1 USB C; Mouse Keyboard Streaming Web cam Secondary USB monitor Ethernet External HD Headset dongle Video editing shuttle Additional space needed for: Headset charging cable Device charging cable

Great power for the form factor. The laptop has a very well thought and engineered cooling system to keep it cool while your playing heavy titles or under loads.

Battery quit working won't charge anymore , useless. Very unhappy.
