Great laptop. System is Beyond what I expected. So glad I went with Asus I have always been a Dell guy until now !!
This is an Intel 11th Gen I7 with 16gig of Ram. Also has the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti. It is a replacement for an outdated HP and is amazingly fast. But of course it would be being 4-5 year newer. I do like that it has the RTX graphics setup that I can run at least 2 monitors if needed. The only thing I missed when ordering is it does not have a number pad. I would buy another any day of the week and this was not even the top of the line. If I spent a little more I could have picked up the I9 Intel but this will work for my needs and the games I may spend time with.
The graphical performance is more than adequate to play the games that I play on max settings at over 120 frames. Even the most intensive titles perform well and the thermals are much better than most other brands and especially competitive laptops. For the price, I've found this laptop to be, bar none the best value for a pc. No brainer if you ask me.
Does everything I need it to do. I actually bought it second hand from a guy who said keyboard malfunctioned and ge was correct the S and 5 keys do not work. I ordered a new keyboard and will he replacing it upgrading hard drive space and ram thus weekend.
I honestly love this lappy for travel. I have two desktops at home including a 2080ti and a 3070ti build and this little beast of a laptop may not have the same power, yet teamed up with its super awesome screen, processor strength and 3050ti gpu it definitely holds its own. No screen tears playing the recommended gpu settings. As well as fully upgradable. I put new gskill ram and 3 tb of m.2 memory. This baby slays.
Love this laptop! Wasn't sure how the 3050ti would handle with only 4GB of GDDR6 BUT it handles every game, with higher settings, i've ran on it so far! The 16inch screen on a 15inch chassis is great for on the go gaming and use without losing that big feel. I give it a 8 out of 10. I'd rank it higher if the keyboard was positioned a little better. Playing WASD, I kinda start rubbing on the track pad. There was room for a number pad but they decided to leave it out which is fine but if your use to gaming with those as hotkeys, your gunna want to take that in consideration. Great laptop non the less and with the gpu shortage, it's going to be one of the only ways to get your hands on a 30 series.
its a really good laptop for gaming, work, design, etc. It has a fast proccesor and a really fast gpu.Ony problem i find is the battry. If you use it unpluged,it will only last about 2 hours. And that is just running chrome or a normal work app.But overall i say its worth it and if u have the ability to buy it you should.
It is one of the best high performance laptop. Would highly recommend for college students who wants a lightweight yet powerful gaming laptop which can handle all the graphic related works and with a gorgeous screen to view movies. Happy customer here.
If only there was a number pad - I would give the laptop highest marks! If the design of the zen book touchpad/number pad combo works, I would have paid extra for that feature. I'm not a gamer, but I do some picture editing and wanted a higher resolution screen. I had bought a Dell but returned it and bought this instead. Much better quality!
Unknown hardware issue.....difficult to navigate support. I spent probably 15-20 hours working with Nvidia, Asus and Best Buy(where I bought it). Computer was 2 mos old. ASUS(who owns ROG) was infuriating to deal with and navigate. Even after completly resetting everything still mystery undiagnosed issue. Sending it back to ASUS(ROG) which again not an easy process and have been without a work computer for too long. Noone seems to want to make this easy for me to get fixed. O
