ASUS - RT-BE96U BE19000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Router - Black

This is an excellent router, fast, powerful, covers my entire 2300 sqft home and even to devices outside. Set up was extremely easy & intuitive. Only downsides are its size (HUGE), very odd design/shape, and it's shipped with an absolutely RIDICULOUS amount of plastic wrap. Everything in the box is wrapped in some kind of plastic or encased in a plastic bag. Way too much packaging. Each antenna is wrapped 3x in various plastics and they are not easy to remove. You will spend what seems like an eternity taking 24 pieces of plastic off. Come on Asus, it's 2025 - you can do better here.

Right out of the gate I love this Router, and the software is what I would hope for and expect! Logging in to everything was a breeze. The phone application was amazing and logging in to other devices was incredibly simple. The competition wishes they were this easy. And the speed is incredible. If you're looking for a new router, this is it.

This is the router for you if you have a fiber optic internet provider. The execution of the WiFi 7 standard through this router is exemplary and stable compared to the provided routers by ISPs. But it also shines when used as a dual WAN and LAN router. The interfaces of the router are modern and intuitive. Great router for today's fast speed requirements while prepping your home for the future of home networking.

I needed to repeat the connection process 2X, but it was easy and 24hrs in, wireless connection has been flawless. I appreciate the brightly lit button/display for easy identification and the bank of connections is easy access.

Just got this router BE96U. It installed very easy and was quite easy to setup. It upgraded its firmware and it has worked perfectly since. It has a lot of nice features and it's mobile app works really well.

I have been using a Wi-Fi 6 router from TP-link but would experience occasional loss of signal to the devices that were farthest away from the router. I was hopeful that the Asus router would eliminate that problem and I so impressed with its signal distance. Since I live in the mountains we regularly have occasions when the electrical power blinks and with the old router, my house automated devices would be hard to reconnect. Now many of the Alexa supported devices reconnect automatically. As a retired network administrator, I was so impressed with the security and administrative functions built into this router. I had used a signal extender with outside antenna to be able to get a Wi-Fi signal to my barn. When I installed this router, I found I had 2 bars of signal at the barn without the extender.

Very fast and powerful router! Easy to set up and easy to use. I have a large house and it covers it completely. The router is very large but quiet and does not emit much heat. The LED lights are not a distraction. Very satisfied with this router. I have been using ASUS routers for 6 years now and I am very satisfied with the operation and support. Good Job!!!

Top notch speeds and a beast of a machine. Coming from a modem router combo, I was paying for gigabit internet but only had 100-200mbps speed on WiFi. Now I'm regularly getting 600-800 mbps speeds across my many devices. Highly recommended to buy this.

I bought this because it claimed to handle duel WAN but I have been unable to get this set up. Tech-support was zero help and did not even understand what a dual WAN was.
