It's quiet slim for a gaming laptop. Can play all modern games smoothly at ultra settings. Heat dissipation is quiet good, while gaming both cpu/gpu does not go beyond 80°C in AC room & not above 85°C on a cheap cooling pad without AC. It stays below 50°C while watching movies/browsing.

Great Laptop but it need cooling pad for gamming.

I have been curious about making the switch to PC for gaming but had no idea where to start. A friend suggested ASUS for a gaming-specific PC, and as someone who has primarily used a gaming console for the last 15+ years and MacOS for about the same length of time, making the switch was the best decision I could have made! This laptop is easy to travel with, easy to navigate, and has definitely improved my gaming experience across the board. My only complaint is that I wish there were more USB ports, but I had a USB-C to USB adapter with 3 ports that work great. Initially the fan speed and temperature were concerning but using Turbo mode helps mitigate the heat. So far I haven't experienced an FPS drop with the exception of swapping windows, but my in-game experience has been phenomenal!

This laptop is amazing. The 12th gen chip is very fast and everything works so smooth on the laptop. The screen has a nice refresh rate. It seems very well built, so I dont mind throwing it in a laptop back and banging it around a bit on a flight. I like the layout of keys, the leds on the keys, and volume buttons on the top row. Really a nice change from my old Legion laptop that was so heavy and did not last. Was very easy to add a second m.2 drive to it for more storage! Great job Asus!

It's alot different from what I expected. It's fast, powerful, and the best thing is that it's light and sleek. Many of my friends commented on how beautiful the laptop is. The guys rave about how powerful it is, the girls rave about how sleek and portable. Love it!

Awesome but not out of the box. Needed to uninstall Armoury Crate. The MUX feature is fine and works- but the other modes do not render properly. Terrible refresh and tearing issues were fixed after completely uninstalling the Asus software. This can be disabled in bios. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was my ability to fix it. Almost asked for a refund at first. Be careful with this machine. Ultimately a blazingly fast headache though!

I haven't used it much, seems to be a robust lap . Has some heating issues than expected. Seems to get heated up a little wasy. Otherwise a good lap. Looking forward to a wonderful experience

Runs games very well, but it get extremely hot, a gt500 laptop cooler is a must, as all the others don't cool it down nearly enough

I am happy with the machine thus far. Its a great low end gaming laptop for the price. This computer is an upgrade for me since my last purchase since my Toshiba 2004. I went from first generation I7 to the 12th.generation from DDR 1 to DDR 5 it plays games beautifully .. It is has plenty of ports for business options which I like and storage capacity with a second drive option. I would purchase it again with a maintenance warranty only. It plays Steam games nicely for the graphics are nice. At refresh rate of 144 hrz it does the job. Its a good computer for businessmen who likes to play games and search the web.

It's great for a first time starter gaming laptop. The build quality is amazing and the RTX 3060 graphics card holds up pretty well. 16gb of Ram alows enough wiggle room for intensive applications. The battery life could be extended since it doesn't seem to hold a charge very long. The half terabyte of HD space is laughable on any gaming laptop in today's standards. The colors on the screen appear to be washed out quite a bit and not as "punchy' as I'd like it to be with HDR being none existant for some reason. Not having any sort of options for RGB lighting is a bummer as well. Over all I'm pleased, but it could use some more work.
