Asus Zenbook 14 OLED 14" Laptop, Intel Core i5 i5-1240P, 256GB SSD, Windows 11 Home, Q409ZA-EVO.I5256BL

After 1 month in, so far I very much like my new laptop. My previous ASUS (now 10 years old) still runs like a charm, but would need some updating to handle the new Windows11. I guess you could say I'm an ASUS loyalist. I would have liked another USB port, but I'll get used to it. Graphics are great, light-weight (3 lbs) and portable, Harmon Kardon audio is wonderful, adequate memory, RAM, etc. Hope it last as long as the former. Thanks ASUS!

Okay, so let me just start off by saying this laptop is absolutely amazing. If you're looking for a laptop in this price range, buy this one. The screen is just beyond belief amazing, the battery life is exceptional, a d the shortcomings are not going to be worth losing those two things. However, there are some flaws. First and least important, the air intake is on the bottom, so you'll find that this laptop overheats if you have it on your lap for too long. When it does, it definitely throttles it's performance down. Fortunately, it throttles from "fantastic" to "average", so its not like it's really a big issue. It will still run just fine. The big problem is the SSD. They picked an extremely slow SSD to put in here and you really notice it when you're doing updates, and it's made worse by the fact that Bitlocker is on by default. Windows updates can take a full hour to install. That said, when you aren't installing large software, you won't really notice because it's still an SSD. You can upgrade it if you want, but that's an added expense.

This laptop has performed better than expected so far. Beautiful display. Purchased to replace older ASUS laptop.

Lightweight, big enough, picks up most Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth accessories. Won't work with my network laser printer. No touch screen though. Only one usb port but has other options.

This product is efficient and meets all my school needs.

Great laptop with exception to the fingerprint sensor that doesn't work consistently.

Update: The ASUS laptop has started going dead while I'm using it. First it was just once every few days, but today it went off by itself twice within an hour or so. I am very disappointed. Do I take it back and trade it for another ASUS?
