Works OK w/macOS, but could be better.
After having to return a similar LG product because it wouldn't work with my Mac mini having Apple silicon- I tried this one. I haven't burned anything yet, but I've copied some files. I can use software to open the drawer, but I have to manually close it. Can ASUS provide a firmware update for macOS Sonoma 14.1.2 (current version). I really don't want to return this one either and go to yet another competitor. Thanks!

Disappointed
This is the third external disk drive I have purchased, unfortunately I had to return the unit because it was not compatible with win 11 pro. I still use the first unit purchased about 3 years ago and wanted to get a third unit for my new machine. I'm a fan of ASUS technology products, just disappointed that this recent purchase did not live up to my expectstions.

Piece of Junk
There was NO power cable, NO stand. Couldn't install the software on either my laptop or pc. Mt husband doesn't believe it is getting enough power. With such good ratings I wouldn't have expected to receive this piece of junk.
