What a CD Collector needs in a world of streaming
Just what I needed. With CD-ROMs no longer being available on most computers and CD players becoming hard to find. This CD collector needed something to RIP CDs so I can stream them. This was easy to set up and use. Worked without a flaw and was reasonably priced.

Perfect DVD reader %26 writer
This is perfect for those who love physical media %26 preservation. I use MakeMKV %26 it's flawless in backing up my library. ASUS brands are great. Expensive when going Blu-ray but they are worth it, as I have 2 different ones and a few regular of these dvd drives.

Disappointed
This is the third external disk drive I have purchased, unfortunately I had to return the unit because it was not compatible with win 11 pro. I still use the first unit purchased about 3 years ago and wanted to get a third unit for my new machine. I'm a fan of ASUS technology products, just disappointed that this recent purchase did not live up to my expectstions.

Piece of Junk
There was NO power cable, NO stand. Couldn't install the software on either my laptop or pc. Mt husband doesn't believe it is getting enough power. With such good ratings I wouldn't have expected to receive this piece of junk.
