Purchased for DYI oil changes, the oversize makes it easier to get out from under the vehicle without the oil splashing all over the sides. The spout makes it easy for pouring the used oil into the container to be recycled. The only improvement to the design would be a handle in back (like the ones in front) for easier handling when pouring, but not a big issue.

These are one of the best drain pans made. EZ to control and empty. Very strong and durable. Last for years. Large enough for changing your transmission fluid and also large enough to hold your coolant when changing it. Cleaning up is a breeze.

It's the best deal you can get and it's just an oil pan. It will splash everywhere so you need to get one of those splash pad guards so oil can go through it without splashing. I used it for the engine coolant drain and it splashes everywhere too. Since then I have added a splash guard on top so I can drain anything through it.

Love it - should have purchased one years ago. Does not spill, large enough to catch oil that drips off of cross-members etc. Easy to pour out your oil into a jug, saves the mess from other pans that just have a lip that pours out all over the place. Does not have a cap on the spout, so you do have to wipe it out when done to prevent slight dripping on the ground - I just stuffed a blue shop towel in and let it soak up the drips, not a big deal. Well made of heavy plastic and just what you need to finally clean up that oil-change mess you have been making for years.

Great to have at home for oil changes, it's durable and no oil mess.

Dish Simple plastic pan, does the job required, right size and shape. easily captures draining oil. spout makes it very easy to pour into any kind of open container I tend to use old milk bottles or water bottles a gallon jugs to then take the oil to recycling center.

I ordered this with other items but it did not come so ordered it again..now I have 2 of them because not informed of first one being delivered to someone else close to me in a separate package .Not good eh? What to do with extra one now? Eats up a lot of time .Walmart is usually better at this...???
