Athletic Works 13 in Hollow Core Foam Roller with EVO Focus Technology, Blue/Gray

I actually did not know that these types of rollers existed! I have knots in my back that always cause me pain. I have a pressure pint massage ball that helps but only in the time I'm using it. This roller makes it more like I am getting the physical therapy relief without the cost! You can find so many stretches to do with this roller and still have those pressure points hit! I love this roller! It's big enough to stretch my back and to do many other different things. It is stronger than it looks.

Initially I was not too sure about this roller....I am now. This is by far the best one that I have ever owned. It comes with 2 attachments for pressure and a stopper. Where the attachments go in there is about a 2" space on each one where you can adjust them. They are very easy to put in, take out and adjust. My spouse has sciatica and it helps relieve some of the pain from it. I myself do not have issues but use it because it feels amazing and so relaxing. It is not like your typically foam rollers where it starts to fall apart over time. There is a thin ring of PVC type material on the inside to keep it's shape and then foam on the outer part. This is definitely a must have for the end of a long day!!

So I have a tight neck. I like to do the tennis ball thing, where you toss two in the floor and put em under the tight part of your shoulder and just RELAX. I find I can go months between needing to do it. So this is the same thing, just more extreme. Its a foam roller, but the core is hard plastic. It doesn't have any give. The knobs they give you are movable. The wedge to prevent it from sliding doesn't work to great. Closest every day object I have around the house for a size comparison is is a two liter bottle. Every member of my family wants to try it out, but truth is it has a purpose. Its for stretching and relaxing knots. Works well. Not good for much else. Have not tried it for thighs, did stick it under lower back just to see and its TOO much for that for me.

I stand at work all day and when I get home my feet are very tired and achy. I have been using this roller to massage my feet and calves. I can sit in a chair and roll the roller under the arch of my feet or sit on the floor to roll my calves. It helps with circulation and makes them feel better. I have also used the detachable nubs to really give my feet a deeper massage. It can be used on your back on the floor as well, but for me I really only like it for my legs and feet.

I love using this for recovery and mobility. I like How durable the product feels. It has a foam exterior and a solid interior. I have been using it for relief for a shoulder and mid back injury and it has helped me tremendously with pain management. The detachable attachments target deep muscle tissue and help with the hard to reach spots. They are hard to get on and off at first but it did get easier after a few uses. I especially love the compact size, I just toss into my gym bag and take it along with me. A convenient carrying bag is included for the attachments so they don't get lost. I highly recommend this roller to anyone who works out!

I am recovering from having a stent placed in my leg and I have used the EVO Roller as part of my recovery efforts. I am not able to use it as part of a workout regimen, but it has help me gain strength in my leg. At first sight, I thought the roller was made of hard material, but I was pleasantly surprised that it is made out of cushioned plastic material. I have Plantar Fasciitis and massaging or rolling the calves really help. It is funny and I didn't believe it at 1st that if you roll your calves and it hurts a little you really need to do it until it doesn't hurt. It really works and this roller works great for that and it is why I got it. I tried some of the other things such as rolling my back and it was not easy or comfortable to do but perhaps I did it wrong. I am looking for some instruction maybe a video that will help.

This roller seems nice. It's probably a little more firm than the foam rollers, but it seems like it would work if you needed to stretch out fascia really well. It also has a couple of nodules that can be added to dig into areas under the scapula, and a triangle that will help hold it in place.

I am a very small woman, size XS in shirts, and the black pressure point thingies do not get close enough together for my spine. It hurts pretty bad with where one of them has to end up. I could remove one, but that isn't really what I want it for so I will probably return it. It is very firm and can be used without the inserts, but at 30-something dollars, it's pricey for an average foam roller. The little wedge stopper is cute and works well enough. I was able to get a very satisfying and deep back pop with this roller and the two inserts, so that was nice.

I received this roller and it was dirty from the delivery truck. It did not come with instructions so I had to look at the description on the box and try to learn how to use it. I didn't notice a difference in back relief but maybe I wasn't using it correctly. I will google to find out more about it.
