It isn't real leather like the title might suggest. But I didn't expect super high quality for this price, and you can see "synthetic" in the photos of the bucket. That said, it's good value for some basic practice balls and a bucket to keep them in. As with probably all budget / synthetic balls, you won't get the same feel or high seams of a real ball, but if that's not important to you (e.g. batting practice etc), these should do the job.

The synthetic cover feels almost like real leather and holds up well over time. Minor scuffing did occur, but it doesn't affect play. Elevates our games effortlessly.
