Athletic Works Back Stretch and Relax Massager, Strengthen Core and Back Muscles

I was late Christmas shopping for my soon to be father in law, but he's one of the “manly men” so I didn't have much material to go off of besides what he already had or a gift card. I wanted to be different so as I was thinking i remembered he's jealous of how good I can pop my own back, so I scrolled through some of the options and found this product for him. He says it works great and helps relieve his back after a long day of patrol. 5 star product I might have to get one for myself.

This really stretched my back out good and isn't too hard.

It is not what I thought I was getting. It is just a pillow that you can put in your back, side or neck to stretch it.

Thought it would be taller or bigger but it didn't quite stretch what I thought it would

I bought this to stretch my back backwards. OMG, it would have hurt less to lay on a large rock. Way too solid and the pyramidal protrusions were painful. I even tried placing a folded hand towel over it to lessen the stabbing, but it still hurt. Three times I forced myself to use this (5 minutes each time), and the stretching did seem to help loosen up my back, but what good is it to trade one pain for another? They need to redesign it with just the smooth curve and no protrusions. If it's not to complicated to return, that's what I'll have to do. In the meantime, I think a firm round bolster will work better. Good idea, painful design.
