Over 70 working on posture for scoliosis. Former massage therapist, used to use a wooden Ma Roller I lost somewhere. This was really uncomfortable first 3 minutes, then my body adjusted. Wow. Use on carpeted floor and in bed mattress. Use it on neck/head cervical muscles lying against a pillow. I love it. Lowered pain, improved posture. Sore muscles relaxed. Sturdy.

This Athletic Works dual-zone roller ball is just super for deep tissue muscle massage of a tight area or for stimulating the circulation in an area. I like it along my spine with one ball on either side of my spine kneading the muscles along my spine. It also feels great on tight shoulder or neck areas. This roller is quite firm on its own. It probably has a bladder inside that can be inflated or deflated. There is a inflation needle that comes with the instruction booklet. I just run this back roller under a little warm water after use to clean it and then dry it with a soft cloth. One day I soaked it in cold water before using it on my lower back. That felt extra soothing. I've thought of maybe tossing it into the freezer for 30 minutes or so prior to use. I have not yet tried that. This is a gadget that you can be creative with for massaging your own tight muscles or the muscles of another family member. You could also use it on tight muscles in the hip or legs areas. I had been trying to use a tennis ball prior to receiving this gadget. The tennis ball just was not stable enough. Since this is a dual roller, it stays put so that you can work it in one area for as long as needed. 5 stars from me!

The Athletic Works Dual Zone Roller is a great roller ball to use if you have trigger spots or need some deep tissue muscle help. My wife has had a trigger spot on her back for years and when she used this roller ball while lying on her back, she said it felt fantastic. I've used it on my back and it also felt great on my sore middle back and lower back muscles. I haven't added any air to it yet and it feels great as it is. It is pretty tough so it seems like it will last a good long time. For anyone looking to get a great roller for trigger spots and some deep tissue muscle massage help, I definitely recommend that you check this one out.

Come with inflation needle pump, incase lost of air, just add to firmness, easy to clean, with a damp cloth and air dry.

These are great to help relax your muscles. I like it for my feet to roll back and forth on it to relieve the stress and tension. This helps to relax your body. Not everyone has achy feet but I’m just saying for me. I have Mobility issues so it’s hard for me to use for my back but it should work if you can use it that way.

Unusual-looking item could easily be mistaken for a rubber bone dog chewing toy, but is actually an exercise device primarily used for massaging muscles by rolling it under some pressure along a muscle set, in this case primarily the back muscles, though it could be used for any large muscle. I had some potential users try it out on the floor using their weight for pressure against their back muscles, however they reported that resulted in too much pressure on their back. So I tried it by locating it between my back and a vertical wall, which allowed me to control the amount of pressure against my back muscles – and that worked much better. The roller stiffness can be controlled by adjusting the air pressure inside the device, letting air out or inserting more air into the device with an included air pressure inflation needle (the kind used for inflating basketballs and soccer balls.) It is a neat nice zone roller with just the right balance of firmness and bumps that won't be too harsh on your tighten muscles. It comes with a small pin needle in case you need to pump up more air over time. The only drawback is it doesn't fit petite person very well with its standard width. Other than that everything is perfect.
