Much louder than I had expected. The sound travels well. You can muffle the sound by covering the end if using in a smaller or enclosed space, but it really is amazing for large outdoor areas.

definetly alot better than a regular whistle! would buy again. loud, easy to use, its or a wrist loop. 10/10

Great for Field Day and in the gym with lots of loud students! They always ask to push the button but some of the students think it's magic if you knee it in your pocket.

Athletic Works Electronic Whistle for Referees Drills Coaching is a very loud whistle that you don't have to put your mouth on, just push a button. Easy as that. It does need 2 AA batteries that are not included. I'm not actually a coach, but I carry it whilst walking so if someone tries to grab me or something I can just sound the whistle. I think it's a great safety device!

Doesn't have a whistle sound just like a chirp if you can call it that . Not load at all

I purchased one and it came opened and it did not work . Returned it bought another one found that I needed to have batteries for it bought batteries. It did not work. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Terrible sound and it keeps making noises even those I'm not touching it

I expected this product to actually sound like a whistle seeing as how it is advertised as a “whistle”. It makes a grating buzzing type sound that my athletes don't react to. Very disappointed
