I like this mini cycle. It's light weight. Stores perfectly under my chair. I'm not using the resistance knob, so can't speak to that. A warning though. I have wide feet and there in no way I can get into the strap. However, I'm using the other side of the pedal and it's working out fine. I didn't have to remove the straps as they don't touch the floor in the upside down position. The "rubber?" feet do not keep the unit from sliding on tile floors without texture. However, if I'm position in the chair with the unit squarely under me it's not a problem. Hope this helps. For the price I am very happy. Using for knee surgery as recommended by surgent.
Decades of working at a desk, this year my knees started to ache and get stiff in sitting position and worse at night trying to sleep. Dreading having to go to physical therapy and take meds, I found on the internet suggested movements like bike pedaling to get all the joint fluids flowing. I did that and it helped a little and then I thought… wouldn't it be nice to have actual pedals? So I found this and first tried 15 minutes and WOW. My knees felt so good. Then I did another 15 minutes before bed and had ZERO KNEE PAIN. Slept so good!! I'm so glad I tried this. Only wish I found it sooner!!!
been using this to help build stamina and keep limbs moving. There is a timer built in and you can pause the timer with one button push but it does not coount rotations or reps.
I bought this because it is small enough to fit my space but large enough to be more stable than under-the-desk units. I knew in advance that the pedals would be too small for my feet (which is true for almost all pedal-driven items). So I was prepared to make appropriate modifications to the pedals. If you have large feet don't buy this item unless you are capable of making your own modifications. Otherwise it is a pretty good value.
Does what it's supposed to. It has adjustable tension, and folds compactly to be put away. The counter on it is basically a glorified timer. You have to push the button to start the timer, and push it again to stop the timer. It does NOT give you any additional info other than how much time passed in-between you pushing the button.
Returned, not as practical for working shoulder area. Tension could be tightened but unit not stable enough to use at a tighter tension. Longer arms made it hard to use sitting down; elbows hit the surface.
little resistance even though it says adjustable resistance. lcd screen batteries die faster than youd like. started squeaking about a month into use, fixed with wd40. still a good lil machine for chillin n wanting to keep moving
I was very upset that when I received this product that it was used in the box. The box inside had been opened and the feet had animal hair on them. (Obviously someone else didn't like it either)The peddles have a strap on them and you can't fit your foot in it and peddle without hitting your heals on the bar. The item is was too lightweight and moves across the floor.
Sorry but this bike is garbage if my son wouldn't have thrown the box away I would have returned it . It pedals so rough the bike bounces no matter how much tension. The pedals are are also to high from the ground making it uncomfortable to ride.
The straps on the pedals hang down instead of standing up like the photo on the box shows, and you can't get your feet into both of them at the same time.
