As many as you can get is what a friend says. This one is very basic but does the job with muscle memory. Most of my training aids are shared with my foursome and they return mainly unused like all training aids but they are affordable and getting something out of them had its benefits wether temporarily or longer.
This is a very simple to use golf iron grip trainer, yet very functional and powerful. It removes all of the frustration of trying to remember how your instructor told you how to hold the golf club. When you go to hit practice golf balls - or playing an easy game with friends - this is perfect to use to keep your grip in proper form. This is a trainer and an excellent one. It feels great. It does not slip up or down. You can not tell it's there, as it feels natural to place your thumb in the guide and hold it properly. This is a great tool to work along with in person instructor led golf lessons.
My husband is trying to improve his golf game by hitting practice balls in the garage. He's been using this Athletic Works Grip Trainer to help perfect his grip during the winter months. He was doing okay prior to this but he's seeing an improvement already!
Great helpful tool to train your hands and fingers in the correct position like the pros so if you need a little help with holding your club correctly this is the answer. Use over time should help you learn permanently. It's blue and black ready to go right out of the package just slide on and your swing is ready!
The packaging is very basic, and doesn't provide any instructions or visuals aside from indicating it's for right handed golfers. Hopefully if you're buying this you already know what you're looking for or have an instructor. This does a great job at improving your grip, but it encourages a neutral grip over a strong or weak grip. Because of this, this grip trainer would be ideal for someone who hits the ball fairly straight and has sound swing mechanics. If you lose shots dramatically in one direction or another then this grip trainer probably isn't for you.
The athletic golf grip trainer is an excellent tool to have for the beginner golfer. The grip trainer clips onto the grip on golf club so you can learn how to hold the club on any club in your bag. The grip is a durable plastic with a soft rubber grip. This grip teaches finger placement.
My son loves the excitement of playing golf with his little friends, so I was pleased to give him the Athletic Works Grip Trainer and it has made a difference in how he positions himself and swing with more confidence, force, and not worry about his hands getting sweaty of losing his grip. The golf grip trainer handler is easy to apply and it does not take a lot to get it clean. I like the design and the lightweight which makes it more manageable for him. I would recommend it.
I have been playing golf for 58 years and wanted to help my grandson with his grip. This training grip is good place to start for beginners. It attaches to a the club grip and gets you to understand the proper grip. A word of caution, as you progress you will come to understand the nuances of the weak, neutral and strong grip. this is accomplished by rotating the grip on the shaft so be aware. For the golfers out there who will notice I have too much grip pressure on my back fingers this is the result of holding the club to take the photo.
I took golf lessons many years ago and was looking to get into the sport again. I thought this might help with my grip and hand placement. It's hard to tell if it helped or not but I'm not sure if I used it correctly. The directions were alright but could be expanded on to include more info .
The Golf Grip Trainer failed to meet my expectation on many levels. No instructions and difficult to gauge if the grip is installed correctly. Unintentionally installed weak grip position and strong grip position. Never could find neutral grip. I would not recommend this to any golfer no matter their skill level.
