As many as you can get is what a friend says. This one is very basic but does the job with muscle memory. Most of my training aids are shared with my foursome and they return mainly unused like all training aids but they are affordable and getting something out of them had its benefits wether temporarily or longer.
Great helpful tool to train your hands and fingers in the correct position like the pros so if you need a little help with holding your club correctly this is the answer. Use over time should help you learn permanently. It's blue and black ready to go right out of the package just slide on and your swing is ready!
I have a friend at church that is a golf instructor, so we played around and he showed me a few things to help me in reviewing this product. Drawbacks, it was on the small side, and from what I could find in looking around, doesn't come in a grip for left handed golfers. Also, there were no instructions or references to websites to help in knowing how to use it to help benefit your game or learning, but I did have the instructor friend to help me. Otherwise, he said that it will work well to help improve and correct grip and help to better shots. He plans to recommend them to some of his beginner students.
I have been playing golf for 58 years and wanted to help my grandson with his grip. This training grip is good place to start for beginners. It attaches to a the club grip and gets you to understand the proper grip. A word of caution, as you progress you will come to understand the nuances of the weak, neutral and strong grip. this is accomplished by rotating the grip on the shaft so be aware. For the golfers out there who will notice I have too much grip pressure on my back fingers this is the result of holding the club to take the photo.
The athletic golf grip trainer is an excellent tool to have for the beginner golfer. The grip trainer clips onto the grip on golf club so you can learn how to hold the club on any club in your bag. The grip is a durable plastic with a soft rubber grip. This grip teaches finger placement.
This grip trainer helps me remember the proper grip. If I were just staring out, I would say there needs to be some directions or a photo to show how to hold the grip. People have different hand sizes, so a picture would be super helpful. There is nothing in the package but the grip itself. I used it on the range before my tee time to get my muscle in the correct "mode". You think you're holding the clubs correctly until you use this grip trainer. It kind of reminds you what you should be doing. This is for right handed golfers only. It's super small and light and doesn't take up much room in your bag so you should always carry it with you. After I removed the trainer, it was easy to remember the grip and my swing was easy!
The grip trainer is great for assisting you with holding your golf stick in your hand properly. It is made of durable plastic and have simple coloring. After a while it can be a little uncomfortable but it gets the job done. You definitely want to have your gloves on while using it. I would recommend to people that are trying to learn how to play golf.
I took golf lessons many years ago and was looking to get into the sport again. I thought this might help with my grip and hand placement. It's hard to tell if it helped or not but I'm not sure if I used it correctly. The directions were alright but could be expanded on to include more info .
The device snaps pretty easily on the handle of my golf club. I think if you have like really cheap or expensive clubs the thing may not fit well on it though. It provides good placement for the right hand to rest on. I do some light golfing so I already know the baseline of where you hands go. The main issue I have with this product is that there are no instructions. If you are getting the golf grip trainer you would probably want the instructions. Also there is nothing to base your left hand on which is a little inconvenient if your just learning.
The Golf Grip Trainer failed to meet my expectation on many levels. No instructions and difficult to gauge if the grip is installed correctly. Unintentionally installed weak grip position and strong grip position. Never could find neutral grip. I would not recommend this to any golfer no matter their skill level.
