Prior to my back surgery I bought a pair of Sketcher slip-ons as I knew that I needed something that I could easily sip on and off without forward bending. I found them so uncomfortable that I returned them. After surgery I couldn't on my shoes and desperately purchased these sneakers and I love them. They look good and are easy to put on and take off and are very comfortable - plus they are very inexpensive.
I wear a Women's size 10.5 or 11 shoe and often shop for Men's athletic shoes to get more room in the toe box. The Men size 9 fits me nicely. (though I slipped in a thin liner to add a bit of arch support.) Shoes are easy to slip on with one little tug on the back loop. And I love the red color. It is just plain fun. Comfy and the price is right, too.
I had to think about whether picking true to size or runs a little bit large. I guess it just depends on what brands you're used to.. some brands run smaller and others larger. I can either wear an eight or an 8 1/2 in an issue I wore 8. The nylon stretch material is so comfortable and the shoe is just the right amount of wide and just the right amount of support with the nice cushion insole. I like them so much I bought a second pair.
My feet have recently started hurting and swelling so I decided to try these. They are more comfortable than ANY expensive name brand shoes that I’ve owned. So much so that I went back and bought two more pairs. The size is accurate and the arch support is good.
I liked the price and that you had my size: 12 wide. Cheapest shoes I've ever bought below $20 and they are very comfortable to walk in. I had a $90 pair of Sketchers that I bought 2 years ago, but they were just to worn to wear any longer. These shoes are just as nice as my Sketchers and hopefully they will last me as long as my other shoes did. The support and cushioning is great and the grey color matches my faded blue jeans. I have to wiggle my heal a little when I put them on, but the slip in feature works well.
I have got to say for this being a really cheap pair of shoe I highly recommend actually I’ve bought a couple pairs of these to have on stand by just in case they sold out cause they are the most comfortable at shoe I have ever wore better than a $200 dollar pair that’s for sure you can not go wrong with these and will be surprised of how comfortable they really are
I really like this shoe overall, but there’s one flaw that made me return it. The top of the shoe that goes around the ankle is really stiff and scratchy. There’s a pad added on the inside back, and it makes the top bend over it and jabs into the back of my ankle. Even with socks. All they had to do was make that pad a little taller so the elastic band around the top doesn’t dig into the ankle. Maybe I’m just overly sensitive. Otherwise the support is great, the fit is great. They offer a wide option which you can’t find in every shoe. The look is a little odd with the jersey-like material covering the shoe, but nothing terrible.
I have another pair of these sneakers in the wide size. I needed those for when my feet are tired and swollen and I want a loose fitting pair of shoes. That said, I liked them so much that I purchased another pair in the red color in the regular medium width for dog walking and everyday use. They are comfortable enough to wear all day long, give moderate support and the breathable fabric helps feet stay comfy. I rate them 4 stars, 4 just because the soles could be a little thicker for comfort. The size and fit are pretty much true to size. A good purchase.
I got these because I needed some slip-on shoes. I recently had a back operation and was told to minimize bending. But all of my shoes require tying, etc. My wife has some slip on Skechers that she can put on from a standing or sitting position. I figured that I would save a few bucks and get the Walmart generic version. Didn't work. These are very stiff shoes. Maybe they will someday be slip-ons after I get them broken in, but for now they don't do what I want them to do. Also, they seem a bit on the small side for their size. All in all, I don't recommend them, even though I think they will be pretty good walking sneakers once I recover from my back operation and have a chance to break them in.
I bought 2 pair for my husband they fit well and comfortable but one pair inside fell apart on both shoes . I have never seen that happen in brand new shoes it was the first time her wore them too. This is 3 rd pair and loves them for the comfort aspect especially. I need to return the ones that fell apart to the store and replace them.
