TL;DR: Durable and breathable toddler sneakers featuring memory foam and an easy-care design. My son has worn these Athletic Works Toddler Boys Mesh Jogger Sneakers many times. My 6-year-old wears these and he likes them; they have been going strong for a few months now. It appears to be made of high quality materials, featuring an upper made of 66% polyurethane and 34% polyester. The mesh overlay keeps things breathable, which is helpful since toddler feet often smell like a sourdough starter left in a hot car 🚗 The hook-and-loop strap and bungee laces provide a secure fit on his medium width feet. These are lightweight and include memory foam insoles for comfort. It is nice to see him running around without the shoes flying off like unguided missiles 🚀 The outsole uses thermoplastic rubber pods for added durability during play. They are easy to maintain and only require a wipe clean to look decent again. These have survived the playground quite well, which is an achievement for any footwear 🏗️
TL;DR: Functional, breathable toddler sneakers with a secure strap and memory foam comfort. I have had my son wear these Athletic Works Mesh Jogger Sneakers a many times. These shoes are perfect for my 4 year old; he wears them all the time. It appears to be made of high quality materials, featuring a mesh upper and thermoplastic rubber pods for durability during his daily attempts to break the sound barrier 👟 The hook and loop strap with bungee laces provides a snug fit on his medium width feet. They are lightweight and include memory foam insoles, which seem comfortable enough to prevent the usual dramatic performance about walking more than ten feet. The odor control is a vital inclusion because toddler feet can somehow smell like a sourdough starter left in the sun 🧀 Maintenance is simple as they only require a wipe clean. The outsole consists of 55% polyester and 45% ethylene-vinyl acetate, offering decent grip for playground activities. These are practical shoes that actually stay on while he runs around 🏃♂️💨
My son is four years old and it's very hard on shoes. I waited to make this review just to see how long it will take him to destroy the shoes. He still has them. I got these shoes last year and they're still my son is four years old and it's very hard on shoes. I waited to make this review just to see how long it will take him to destroy the shoes. He still has them. I got these shoes last year and they still look good.
My child has been wearing these tennis shoes for a couple years now, going from size 7 to now size 9. He's had them in gray, navy, and black. These are the only tennis shoes he will wear and he loves them. They are inexpensive and great for school. I purchase a pair for school and a pair for weekend wear. I hope Walmart never stops selling these!
Have been getting these for my kids for years. They hold up rather well and are cheap enough to have a couple of colors/pairs to rotate throughout the week. Price is also nice so it's not the end of the world when your kid ruins a pair when they pee their pants. I like to buy the next size up and keep on hand as kids grow overnight sometimes.
My little boy wears these to school everyday. They never seem to be uncomfortable to him and we wash them frequently and they hold up. You can't beat the price if you grab them on sale! I have purchased twice now when he has outgrown his current pair for the next size up. These are great little shoes.
It's a little annoying when the online price is more than the price that comes on the tag when you receive the item. I just feel like it's tricking people into thinking they are getting ‘free' shipping. These shoes are great, and cheaper if you buy them in store.
I buy these as my kiddo grows, they don't really stand up that well but he grows out of them by the time they start falling apart and so for the price overall it's fine, because I find that all kids shoes these days fall apart so I might as well buy cheap ones. fine for toddlers and little kids I probably wouldn't buy them for bigger kids.
We've bought these shoes over the years in different sizes as my boys grew and they were great but the last 2 times I bought them they broke after the 1st day. I thought it was a fluke the first time it happened but the second pair proved the quality just isn't there anymore.
I really wanted to like these shoes. The appearance looked nice and they actually fit my son's foot and he has pretty fat feet. But there is a material on the bottom that makes them pretty slick. He fell a few times just trying to run around the house in them. Definitely don't recommend especially if you have a younger toddler
