I picked these out because of The style, but to my surprise, they are going to be my new favorite pair of shorts because of how soft the fabric is. It is a Silky, buttery, cotton and just the most comfortable material I have ever felt. I am wearing a one X which is my normal size and I would say they fit a little big, but I’m not sure if I would size down or not. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking.

I'm going to order these in every color! These are the most comfy, high quality shorts I've had in a long time. I don't like super short, shorts. If you like to dress with modesty and comfort these are a must have! The elastic waistband is super convenient and doesn't hang out. So when I put them in the washer I don't have to worry about it coming out or knotting up. Did I mention the soft light weight material!!?

These shorts are the MOST COMFORTABLE shorts I have EVER owned! They are my go to no matter if I'm going out for the day or lounging around the house. You can wear them as “high rise” or normal. They're not too long or too short. I purchased one pair in May 2025, and I'm purchasing another two pair now (September 2025).

The fabric is very soft and smooth. The elastic waistband has great integrity and very good stretch and looks like it will hold up well. Length of shorts are 4” I believe. I'm 5'3” 145 and I bought a medium but wished I bought a large. I plan to exchange them or get a refund. They fit fine but I was wanting an oversized looser fit. Not fond of the color either, but was all they had to choose from online.maybe there will be more available in large size. Overall very nice item.

I love these shorts so much that I bought them in 3 colors with the matching tops. They are buttery soft, super comfortable, and a great option for casual wear or working out. They are an even better version of the old Athletic Works Buttercore shorts that had the visible drawstring. Please make more in bright colors!

Great shorts, I have ordered every color, super comfortable for daily wear around the house and even for pairing with a t-shirt for running errands. Glad they made the inseam a little longer than the same shorts from last year. I'm a 6-8 and buy the M.

The material is very soft, and the shorts are slightly longer than some workout style shorts, which is a bit more flattering. I am between a S and XS and went with S. The waist isn't loose, but the elastic is not stretched at all, the rest of the shorts are somewhat loose but don't look too big. They are really comfortable!

I'm old, 5'6 about 190 lbs, and think I'm fat. I got 2 pair of 1X, and they are just a tad loose. I'm ordering 2 more pair in Large. Still gonna WEAR all 4 of them. I am VERY happy with them!! They are soft, and gathered at the waist. There are 2 pockets in front. I would like a pocket in back for my phone when I'm working in the yard. But, over the years, I have used material that I have saved over the years to sew a patch pocket on back. BEST BUY I HAVE MADE IN A WHILE.... Try it, you'll like it......

these shorts truly are great. I was a reluctant to believe the hype and raving reviews but for the price i figured I'd try them out since i just want shorts for lounging and workingout that didnt break the bank. these exceeded my expectations. in my opinion they double as pajama shorts because they have that soft cozy feel. I love that I can wear them to lounge and sleep. In my opinion they run slightly small. i am 5'2" about 136 28 inch waist and the mediums just fit me. i would not want these shorts any tighter and fear the large would be way too big. just keep that in-mind considering the medium tag says size 8-10. im more of a 4-6.

These buttercore shorts are just as they say in the name...buttery and smooth. They are SO comfortable whether you use them for sleeping, working out, or just running errands, you will be satisfied! The material is light and soft so it feels like you're wearing nothing, haha. I especially love them in the summer heat because they are cooling and they don't stick to me in the horrible TN humidity. I also get the tank top and t-shirt that match. The combo together is chef's kiss. I plan on owning all of the sets eventually!
