Athletic Works Women's Core Active Dri-Works Bike Shorts, Sizes S-4X

I received the Dri Danskin Now Women's Core Active Dri-More Bike Short and I really like them. I thought they were going to be really short but they are not. I’ve had shorts in the past that were biker shorts, but they were short more like boy shorts. The material is not thin and no panties don’t show through. The color I received is black soot color and it was nice and dark. I like to wear biker shorts under dresses and skirts, just in case my dress happens to fly up. I wore these under a more fitted dress and I didn’t have a bulky look or lines showing under my dress. They fit close to the body not baggy or to tight. The sizing seems pretty on point, if want a bagger look go a size up. I like that they are made out of 90% cotton 10% spandex. The waistband is pretty thick, but I like that. I gave these a go with exercising and they worked out great. Another feature I like is that I didn’t experience much riding up in thigh area. I saw the reviews about wearing them swimming, so I decided to test out by walking in the pool. They didn’t seem to stretch out much, so I think they would be perfect for swimming. The washing instructions are cold water a like colors. After washing them I didn’t notice much fading. I just let them hang dry they seem to dry pretty quick. I recommend these to anyone who wants a biker short that is not super short and want to save money. These shorts are well worth the price. I plan on buying a couple more pairs.

These are some pretty comfortable shorts. They are nice and soft and great for working and cleaning around the house. They are true to size, which is always appreciated when ordering something online. The color is a dark teal-ish blue, so nothing to get excited about, but not too bad either. The price is great, these are pretty cheap for workout shorts that are this soft. They stay in place pretty well. They have enough stretch to keep them up and no fabric is rolling anywhere, but no so much that it becomes uncomfortable and pinchy. These are the perfect amount of elastic. They are a good length too. I am an apple shape, and short workout shorts only make it look worse, so I am thankful that these come down about mid-thigh. I am on the tall side though, so for an average woman, I imagine these would rest just above the knees. In my picture you can see they wrinkle pretty easily in the wash, but smooth right back out when you put them on. ha ha The only drawback is that they are already wearing in the thighs after only one wear. For you larger girls out there like me who have absolute no thigh gap, this is a pretty common problem in pants, and these are no exception. Again, I love them, great price, super comfy, but I don't expect them to last all that long, especially if I wore them a lot to work out.

I love these; they were the pants to my teacher-on-summer-break uniform. My waist is ~36 inches, hips are ~45 and the 0X fit perfectly. They went from snug at first to the perfectly comfortable fit after a few movements; their length is great (Im 5f 4in and they came to just above my belly button and stopped about an inch and a half above my knees). LOVE these shorts

I love how comfortable these shorts are and they fit true to size. They are well made with a crotch rather than just a seam. They are knee length which is exactly what I was looking for and with a lot a stretch and recovery, they look and feel good all day and night. These are the perfect shorts and I ordered another pair. These will be great for the summer!

I wrote an ealier review by just looking at the shorts. I said they were too short. They appeared to be too short compared to the image. Anyway, I tried a pair on today and they are longer than they appeared to be. Ill be able to wear in public. I apologize for my first review. Wanted to delete it, but couldn't. Thanks, Emma

I got these shorts because I was looking for something comfortable to exercise and do house work in and these fit that bill. They are stretchy yet form nicely to the body. I've washed them a number of times and they maintain their stretch and color. They come to just above my knee. As a plus-sized woman they don't ride up my thighs when I walk, and I appreciate that very much! I'm also able to pull them onto my stomach and they don't fall or slide down off my stomach when I walk either. I appreciate that, as well! I got poked by a nail on a door while trying to enter my home and got a hole in the shorts. I was concerned the hole would spread. Surprisingly, the fabric is stable enough to where, even between washings, the hole hasn't gotten any larger and I'm still able to wear the shorts. Good fabric and good shorts. The directions say to wash in cold water, but I wash mine in warm and hot water. I have not experienced any shrinkage by doing that. It also says to tumble dry low. Again, I have not experienced any shrinkage. I encourage anyone buying it to launder them as directed. But the warm/hot water works for me.

These shorts are very comfortable and very well made, the seams are very strong, but have enough give to stretch with you. The shorts go all the way up to the waist and down to my knees, which for me, makes them even more comfortable. The material stretches with you, even when doing warming up exercises for any sport. There was not a single position I tried, that I felt that the seams would not hold up for, or that the material would not comfortably stretch to accomodate. The shorts do not slide or creep down or up during any activity, they wonderfully stay exactly where they should. I found that they did not bunch up at all, anywhere, doing anything. They go through the washer and dryer with no issues at all. They are thin enough to be cool, but are thick enough to not be see through at all. The material is stretchy enough to allow you to comfortably do any movement at all, and it does not become saggy. The shorts are the size they are supposed to be, I am 5'2" and weigh 160lbs, the size I got is 2x, and the fit is good, so it is safe to order the size you wear. There are no pockets in these shorts.

These are nice shorts. They aren’t what I was expecting for dri-more. They are thinner cotton material. They aren’t see thru, which is nice. They are modest so I don’t feel self conscious bending over or having legs in the air when I’m doing my workout classes. Due to the color, they will show sweat tho so beware lol. They are comfy, I’ve lounged in them. True to size. Style is exactly as pictured. They aren’t something that I would take off the rack and buy, but I will definitely wear them. I recommend for anyone seeking modest and comfy workout shorts.

These biker shorts work well for the intended use. I am about 5'2 and 245 pounds currently. I am wearing a size 2x and it fits perfectly. These fit well in all areas. I like that they are high rise so they come up above the belly button, that's important when you don't want your shorts riding down, especially if you've got a big belly. They fit nicely around the legs and around the stomach, and the waist. At the top the band is thick in height but not in actual thickness, which is nice because you don't end up having any twisting or rolling. They come down mid thigh on me which is where most of them do. They are stretchy but not overly stretchy and do have a little support to them. They are a little thin, and I fear if you've got some serious cellulite they would definitely accentuate that. I don't feel them moving or riding when I'm wearing them, and they don't seem to be stretching out too much while being worn, this is due to the fact that it's got some spandex in it I would assume. Overall they're a pretty nice pair of shorts to wear as intended and they fit great.

I received my Danskin Now Women's Plus Active Bike Shorts Received three days ago. Unfortunately they either run very small, or these are mis marked. I am a little disappointed as I was looking forward to using them especially since the temperatures have really warmed here. They are fairly thick, and some stretch but not a huge amount of stretch. I really like the length, and feel. These have a little more “control” to them than my Leggings by them do. I love those; my favorites are the ones with the pockets. I guess these will go to my inspiration pile, They don't have bulky seems or hems, and I think if they fit would be comfortable. The weave is such that you can tell it will let air in to help dry, and its soft. Im positive I would like them, and as I said I love their legging style active wear. When I get back into the store I will try on the next size and see if those will work as I really wanted them. Disappointed I cant help you all more with them, but cant get them on. Really nice fabric, and they feel soft. So I do like that. They are a deep black, not washed out. My other Danskin products have washed well, and haven't lost their color at all. So I would assume the same on these. I would recommend them but if you can try them on until you know this style fits, then I would be fine with ordering more. If my daughter can wear them will try to update the review.
