I got these shorts just for everyday wear around the house very comfortably and I like the length for at home wear.

They seem perfect
I bought these Athletic Works Dri More 5" Bike Shorts to wear under 'too short for bending over' gardening sundresses. I usually wear a medium in everything, the biggest part of my lower half is 39 1/2 inches so size chart said Large and it fits just as in the product photo, close to the skin, but not tight. They do measure 5 inches from crotch seam to bottom of hem. I wish they were 4" instead since they may show under the dresses, w/o bending over, but they seemed the best choice in every other way. I haven't worn yet to know durability etc. . .

nice fit good quality
I usually wear a medium in Time and tru and other walmart brands. They only had these is small so i took a chance and ordered them. They fit like a medium to me. Not too loose or too tight. I bought them to wear under my shorter dresses. I like the cotton content and the price was right. for reference, I'm 4' 11 and about 148 and slightly "hippy".

Comfortable cotton shorts!
I wear these around the house and to sleep in! They are so comfortable; cotton is more comfortable, to me and I am happy Walmart sells these… this style shorts are hard to find in cotton… washes and made well; very affordable!!!

These have been my fav go to shorts for years. They were a nice quality not to light or heavy, a comfortable waistband, the logo near the waistband, maintained their shape and washed well. Ordered 4 pair, these are very thin material, no inset waistband like before, no logo, no inset seems, just plain thin t-shirt like material that do not hold up well, stretch out, and are of very low quality. I really hope that they change and go back to the other fabric and design as they were very nice. These new ones I would not recommend at all.
