These shorts are fantastic!! Very soft and lightweight! I'm 5.5 165 and I got a size large, I probably could have went with medium but I'll wait and see how they fit after drying them. I highly recommend. They do have a functioning drawstring and pockets, great summer shorts!

This is a repeat purchase as I really like these shorts. They are perfect for the lady with the more mature figure and age who wants to keep cool and be attractive at the same time. I live in Florida where shorts are worn 9 months out of the year. I have washed these shorts repeatedly over the year I have had them and they look as good as the day I bought them. They are perfect for working around the house, going to the gym and to the beach.

Because I've purchased this brand if shorts before, I knew what I was getting. The surprise this wad that instead of the two pair of shorts I ordered one of the items wad short, shorts. The one was the correct black athlete shorts, the other was short shorts.

These athletic works shorts. Are absolutely wonderful. The material is soft and not too thick but not too thin. It's very stretchy and very comfortable. The only suggestion I would give is to go down a size or two sizes in order for you to have the right size. They do run rather big. The pair I got were about two sizes too big so the next ones I buy which I will be buying, will be a size to two sizes smaller than the one I got this time. But they're very comfortable they're very cool you won't be sweating in them. They're just absolutely wonderful shorts and very very comfortable for anything you're doing they move right along with you no matter what. I would give it a 10 star if they had that many. Definitely worth buying.

These shorts are so comfortable. Material very soft. They come down middle way to knee. As a 65 year old woman, it works for me. Only complaint I have, is the pockets could be deeper. I purchased at the end of summer, so limited on colors, but had my favorite, blue. You couldn't beat the price of around $7.00 Highly recommend, especially if you're on the fuller side.

These Bermuda shorts are great for Spring all the way to Fall. They wash and dry well , requiring no ironing. Perfect for around the house, running errands, playing with the grands. Nice roomy pockets will hold your phone, keys, and a little extra. They are long enough that old ladies like me love them!

I order a few of these every Spring. Nice weight fabric that feels good on the skin. They look good at first, but after several washes they lose their softness, start to pill, and the cord twists up (which I then remove). You can start with wearing out to run errands and to the gym, but for me, they eventually become house shorts. Regardless of how the fabric changes over time, I still find them to be comfortable for house/yard work, working from home, and just relaxing. I like the deep pockets and length. For ordering online I measured my waist and the size chart said a 2x would fit, but ordered XL and they fit perfectly. When I first started ordering these shorts they were around $6 and today almost $9 with no improvement in quality. I normally order 5-6 pair, but this year just 3 strictly due to the increase. I won't buy again if the price continues to grow.

Although I think that the price of these shorts was good, the description is completely off! French terry cloth is a sweatshirt type of material - definitely not what the shorts I received from Walmart as listed at the top of the product page and the description and product details. They are more of a dri blend material but a bit heavier and more silky.I was really hoping that I found a pair of longer REAL French terry cloth shorts, and these were a big disappointment in that aspect. I will keep them to wear to bed. They will be ok for bedtime but not what I thought I was buying.

While these are comfortable and lightweight shorts, out of 3 pairs and 2 separate orders, only one was a Large. The inside labels will say Medium and Small and are true to size by that inside label, not the hangtag. i want 2 of two particular colors but I'm going to just do the one pair because Walmart employee shoppers and online order workers are not aware and go by outside tag. Get these in store, don't rely on store delivery or shipping. I know, I've tried both methods. Good luck! They really are good shorts but mismarked.

They changed the overall item. I've bought Athletic Works shorts for several years and this time the shorts are much bigger, and too long! These are too big for me and I ordered the same size I always order. Why change a good thing? And why can't I get the same shorts I've ordered for many years? I will be returning these shorts and hopefully, Athletic Works will come to their senses and bring back the old style of shorts that I've been buying for many years!
