Athletic Works Women's Plus Size 9" French Terry Drawstring Lounge Shorts, Size 1X-5X

I usually buy my shorts from woman within because im shaped top heavy so im funny about just buying any shorts from other places...but these shorts im loving them i bought a size down i usually wear a 3x but i bought a 2x and they stretched so wonderfully that i bought another pair..get thes asap because you will not be dissappointed..just get them ..now..

I really like these shorts! They are soooo soft and feel really good when you put them on! I bought a size 1X and I have to admit that when I first opened the bag and pulled them out they looked huge, like wayyyy too big. However, they do have a drawstring and once I put the shorts on they didn't feel as huge as they first looked. The drawstring helps it not be too overwhelmingly big. Just for reference my size in shorts usually varies between 1X to XL. I would suggest maybe sizing down one notch, but if you prefer a looser feel than I'd probably stick with your usual size. These are super comfy.

I would order a size down because I ordered a 1X and they are too big. I wanted a 22-24 which supposedly that's what I thought 1X was but One x is 24 26 other than that the shorts are great

The material is smooth, and they are very comfortable. I usually shop at other plus-size stores, but these shorts are awesome, and I will buy all the colors. Get these ..you will love them..

SOOO soft and comfy! The fit is great, the waistband is stretchy elastic, but it's sewn in so there's no 'roll-down' of the elastic, which I hate. Pockets are deep and don't bulge out. Length is good. I would buy more if they were available!

I got the size that the size guide measurements said should fit me. They were huge! Get the size you would normally, maybe a size down. Very comfortable.

Upon ordering these shorts, I thought they'd be comfortable to hang out in the house and I just kind of lounge with. I can see that I have not ordered the correct size, I ordered them way too big however they are super comfortable. The material is extremely thin and I greatly appreciated that there's actually no tag in them. They don't even come with a tag. The only tag is the one on the inside imprinted so for sensitive skin it works great. Definitely order your size.

First of all here in July of 2025 these are running large! I've purchased the short several times over the last several years as they are my go-to favorite comfort shorts. I have a pair of them on right now as we speak! they are the soft cloth material, longer Bermuda style. the waist is not stretchy but has a string to tie them to whatever size you prefer. I normally get a 2X, but these are the size of a 3X or larger. I saw other reviewers making the same comments but I decided since I get these often I would just stick to my original size, but they were correct they are running large right now for some reason! I don't know if it is a quality control flaw where the wrong size was put on the wrong shorts but the 2X for sure is running large. I just received these and they took several days longer than normal to arrive. Tracking showed them starting in North Carolina and stopped at several locations along the way to Colorado, they were 5 days late.

These shorts are extremely unflattering. If you are looking for something just comfy then these are perfect. They are super baggy and very soft. They have a draw string which is nice to make it tight on the waist. I am wearing a 2xl at 5'7 and 230lbs. I probably could have sized down 1 or even 2 sizes because they are super baggy! The color, I personally don't carry for the brown. I probably would have liked the black better. The brown does show all the lumps and everything underneath. Overall I don't really recommend these.

I bought the recommended size per your website...NEVER AGAIN. The legs come down to my knees, and the legs are so big around they look like gaucho pants, not shorts. They're my pajama "shorts" now. 😕
