Athletic Works Women's Plus Size French Terry Drawstring Lounge Shorts, 9 in Inseam, Sizes 1X-5X

I usually buy my shorts from woman within because im shaped top heavy so im funny about just buying any shorts from other places...but these shorts im loving them i bought a size down i usually wear a 3x but i bought a 2x and they stretched so wonderfully that i bought another pair..get thes asap because you will not be dissappointed..just get them ..now..

SOOO soft and comfy! The fit is great, the waistband is stretchy elastic, but it's sewn in so there's no 'roll-down' of the elastic, which I hate. Pockets are deep and don't bulge out. Length is good. I would buy more if they were available!

I got the size that the size guide measurements said should fit me. They were huge! Get the size you would normally, maybe a size down. Very comfortable.

The material is smooth, and they are very comfortable. I usually shop at other plus-size stores, but these shorts are awesome, and I will buy all the colors. Get these ..you will love them..

I would order a size down because I ordered a 1X and they are too big. I wanted a 22-24 which supposedly that's what I thought 1X was but One x is 24 26 other than that the shorts are great

These are very comfy shorts and a good length. I'm glad I didn't size-up as I sometimes do for clothes purchases, as these are a generous women's 16-18, and I usually order 18-20. Easy to wash and wear, no wrinkling.

I am not a short-wearer, mainly beacuase finding shorts I am comfortable wearing is next to impossible, these Athletic Works shorts, I will actually wear. They come to just above the knee (perfect length), the material is light weight and loose and very soft, and remains so even after repeated washing and drying. I lprefer the drawstring over a button or elastic waist, easy to adjust to a comfortable fit. I love that these shorts actually have deep enough pockets to carry your phone in. Overall these are a great pair of short, highly recommended.

First of all here in July of 2025 these are running large! I've purchased the short several times over the last several years as they are my go-to favorite comfort shorts. I have a pair of them on right now as we speak! they are the soft cloth material, longer Bermuda style. the waist is not stretchy but has a string to tie them to whatever size you prefer. I normally get a 2X, but these are the size of a 3X or larger. I saw other reviewers making the same comments but I decided since I get these often I would just stick to my original size, but they were correct they are running large right now for some reason! I don't know if it is a quality control flaw where the wrong size was put on the wrong shorts but the 2X for sure is running large. I just received these and they took several days longer than normal to arrive. Tracking showed them starting in North Carolina and stopped at several locations along the way to Colorado, they were 5 days late.

I bought the recommended size per your website...NEVER AGAIN. The legs come down to my knees, and the legs are so big around they look like gaucho pants, not shorts. They're my pajama "shorts" now. 😕

These shorts were twice the size they were described as. I bought the exact same shorts last year in different colors, the same size, and they fit just fine. This year, you could fit two of me in them. The description is very misleading and should be corrected.
