Not right size

Thanks to Influenster & Athletic Works for sending this complimentary water shoes. Very comfortable shoes. The material is flexible. Sometimes is hard to find Wide sizes but this is perfect for those with this needs. The seams are very well made. They are not slippery at all.

It was winter when I got these so I haven't been able to test them outside in water, I have used them when giving my dog a bath to keep from slipping on the shower floor when he gets excited, they are so comfortable and they grip the floor very well so I think they will be perfect for wearing when we go to the lakes or even walk down near the river in the spring and summer. They are really cute and easy to style !!

These are pretty good water shoes. Before anything else, I want to preface my review by saying that I only tried these on indoors (in a bathtub) and in melting snow, not on the beach or in nature. These may fare differently in those environments. They look like typical water shoes. They have a layered mesh on most of the top of the shoe and rubber soles. The soles are fairly thick and definitely cushion your feet against anything too rough or prickly. The support is also pretty good considering that they're water shoes. It didn't feel like I was straining my feet when wearing and I didn't experience any discomfort (which I do with shoes with no support), so that was a very pleasant surprise. The soles also have some grips that make them slip resistant. I think this would likely vary in nature, but I didn't feel like I was slipping when walking around my bathtub or over a few icy patches outdoors. They felt pretty comfortable to wear (even when wet), feel true to size, and were very easy to put on (nothing to zip or tie, just slip ons). The mesh is pretty thick and doesn't seem like it would tear or get quickly worn out. When taken off, I found that they were dry within an hour or two. Overall I'm quite pleased with these. I think they're a great value for the money and seem sturdy enough to withstand basic day-to-day water exposure (so the beach and light walking, not hiking or anything strenuous). I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for shoes for those situations.

Overall these are pretty decent water shoes for the price. I plugged in my size on the website which is an 8 1/2 in sneakers. They stated I would need a size 8 and these because they run large however they barely fit me in my toe is smashed in so I unfortunately, I need to return these I originally was going to order a size 9, but they said a size 9 would be too big. I ordered black. They have a nice mesh covering all around. They seem pretty well constructed with a nice thick rubber bottom which is great if you're walking on the beach or along the shoreline in case you step on Shells or anything else, it should protect your feet. How long these will hold up only time will tell. I plan on taking these back to the store and exchanging them for a larger size. If these should fall apart prematurely, I will come back and edit my review but for eight bucks at the time of posting this June 5, 2026 that's not a bad value at all!

RETURNED!! I have purchased these black beach shoes at Walmart for about 15 years now. I wear a size 6, and Walmart is not carrying size 6 shoes at all anymore!! So I ordered them online for delivery. THESE SHOES ARE NOT SIZE 6 SHOES!! I compared them to my identical Athletic Works older pairs that I have still- THERE IS AN 1 inch difference in the lengths!! DOWNSIZING IS THE NAME OF THE GAME @ WALMART THESE DAYS!! SHAME ON YOU WALMART!!

These water shoes arrived just in time for our vacation, but they were clearly used and returned as they were attached with a zip tie. Both shoes had stains on the toebox area and the bottoms showed wear. Do better inspecting your returns before reselling!
