[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid product. Been eating one for breakfast for years. Switched to the peanut butter when they changed the formulation of the chocolate chip meal bars and the new formula tasted “artificial”
Peanut butter is a favorite flavor of mine as a snack so I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy it as a protein meal bar. But it did meet my expectations and I was satisfied with the taste, flavor and I wasn't hungry until the next meal time. It didn't leave an aftertaste and and I thoroughly enjoyed eating the protein bar with a cup of coffee ☕️ or even with a glass of water. I will be purchasing it again.
The Peanut Granola Bar produced by Atkins is a good tasting and filling meal replacement bar. At some places, the price is significantly higher negating the value. However, Wal-Mart offers it at a very reasonable price and I purchase these as a nutrition supplement staple.
The Atkins Peanut Butter Granola Protein Meal Bar is a solid choice for a quick and convenient snack. It's high in fiber, low in sugar, and keto-friendly, which makes it a great option for a busy lifestyle. The peanut butter flavor is nice, and the granola adds a satisfying crunch. That said, while these are good, they don't quite match the indulgence of the chocolate bars in the Atkins range. Still, they're worth a try, especially for peanut butter fans!
Continues to get more expensive but a really good item. My real issue was with the delivery. It was just dropped off in the lobby of my apartment building and I just accidentally found the package
Used to go through a value pack of these every week, was my go-to protein bar daily. Now after the update, can only find the 4 pack for the same price you used to get 5, and they taste terrible. These are now inedible and I'm stuck searching for another brand. Won't but these again unless they bring back the old formula. Thanks for ruining something good, Atkins.
The product changed, and not in a good way. The taste is horrible. Absolutely no chocolate taste anymore. Tastes like a chemical lab. Also, there used to be 5 to a box in the smaller packaging, now only 4, but still charging the same ridiculous price. Please go back to the former recipe and quantities per box (including the 8-pack).
I ordered these and the packaging looks different. But then I ate it and it has a completely different flavor than they used to. It's almost inedible to me. I can't even finish it. Do we know if Atkins changed their formula across the board? If so, I'll never buy them again unfortunately. Any recommendations for meal replacement bars that are equally as good as the former Atkins bars with the previous formula?
Have been buying 2 boxes a week for at least 2 years straight, this new recipe is a mistake. The texture is worse, tastes worse, and is no longer going to be my main protein bar. I am a creature of habit and eat the same things basically every day. I have eaten probably 500 of the old ones.. this might be the end.
"Improved Taste"? Whoever thought this is an improvement should have their tastebuds checked. What once was a great breakfast/mid-day snack bar has now been ruined. As the old saying goes...don't try to fix what's not broken, definitely applies here.
