desert grown olives are known to have far higher levels of polyphenols (the healthy stuff) than traditional olives (according to Dr. Gunderson - look him up). Dr. G. sells his own version of dessert grown olive oil, which, when I last checked, was $50 per tiny bottle. I can't honestly tell you how closely the polyphenol levels in Atlas compare to Dr. G's, but I find this price much easier to swallow (financially %26 literally 😉)

I took a spoon full and it was great,it had a peppery taste which I really like it will add flavor to everything that I choose to pare it with.! Well worth the money.!! okay it's been really cold here with the temperatures below 20 and it did not freeze up and get all you know solid so it must be good oil and it had a five-star rating so I got this this time cuz the other I got that is a popular brand they were saying that they had some issues so I don't want to buy it anymore so I thought I would try this five-star rating it didn't freeze up okay

No mixing from multiple areas nor with oils that are not from olives. Exrra virgin, from one family estate in Morocco. Here is everything we look for in an olive oil and is rarely found. And you can taste the difference nearly sweet, adds to the taste of your eggs, garlic bread, pizza, salad dressings, and salads. Add unsalted butter to Atlas and serve over cooked veggies. This is a real treat. Yes higher in price than most olive oils but definitely worth the extra amount . Lower blood pressure, tackle inflammation with olive oil . To your health!

I could not wait to taste this olive oil oil, which was toasted online as being so top-of-the-line and delicious, and I am happy to say I was not disappointed. It's difficult to describe the taste without comparing it to a normal cold press olive oil so I will go out on a win and say it has a deep almost nutty, fruity flavor that put it over the top. The olive oil tasted very good. I tried it on its own and with some bread and spices and it tasted good both ways. Its very smooth and has that classic flavor that you look for in a good olive oil. This is probably one if the best store bought ones that I have tried. There was a dent on the bottle cap that I didnt notice until after purchasing but it doesnt affect my opinion on the oil its great.

i must of got two bad batches because this used ti be so smooth and nice tasting. the last two bottles were so bitter i ended up buying another brnad and prefer that brand now to Atlas.

The oil I got lacked the known characteristics of extra virgin olive oil — it didn't have the taste or aroma associated with EVOO, the oil was bland and flat, no peppery aftertaste in the throat that EVOO typically has that would indicate the presence of polyphenols. Even the cheaper brand of extra virgin olive oil that I have in the pantry have more of these characteristics. I really wanted to like this brand and was looking forward to trying it, but after trying it I can't recommend Atlas.
