Atomix Game, Brainteaser Puzzle Sphere for 1 Player, Fidget Toys for Ages 7+

I had the former version of this, the Orb, back in the late 80's. I bought it at a Kaybee Toys for a couple of dollars and I do not remember what happened to it. Recently I have been trying to buy some of the Rubik's era analog toys and this has seemed to have escaped me. I was in Colorado about a month ago and I went into a toy store. I asked the guy at the store about the Orb and he impressed me with his knowledge. However I came home and somehow found this on the Walmart app. I shall not lose this one.

She loves the rubics cube and i would say this really compares to that! It’s quite the challenge!! You have to twist it up and mix the colors and then match them all together again!! We loved a good challenge!! We loved it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This puzzle game is compact and easy to grab on the go. Its not easy by any means, but it is interesting. My teens found it hard and gave up. If you have a kid who enjoys things like rubiks cube, they will like this! Great stocking stuffer! I dont think it has been released yet, the QR code on the package was supposed to lead to additional info but it went to Hasbro website instead. When i searched Atomix, nothing came up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Atomix ball was a lot of fun. I would say be careful when you are twisting it because it can pinch you (especially little fingers). The ball is very light, great to take with you! There are a few different ways to play which is a great idea, it’s not just a solve it once and done, there are other patterns you can go for. If you enjoy rubiks cubes, this is a great option!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was really fun - both to puzzle and to just move around! It’s very satisfying in a tactile way, and beautiful to boot! It’s definitely for older kids/adults, but even my young daughter enjoyed moving it!

My kids did enjoy playing with this for maybe 30 full minutes before giving up and moving on to their other toys and games. After mixing up the beads and then shifting the circle around we tried so hard to solve it and couldn't lol it's very challenging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the spherical version of a rubix cube and just as anxiety inducing lol! It's simple to mix up all of the lines and colors but it's a real boondoggle to get them back in line again! Sometimes the little sliding pegs get stuck and you can't spin the sphere like it's supposed to or they get stuck in the track and don't slide as easily. Other than that it is a pretty cool fidget gadget to keep your mind and hands occupied for a while.

It didn't work after 5 minutes from taking it out of the box. Waste of money %26 time!
