Atonement/Pride & Prejudice/Jane Eyre/Elizabeth (Box Set) [DVD]

Although I've seen and love other, older versions of these classic English romance dramas, I bought this DVD to view and compare the newer versions with the older ones and the reason I'd recommend this DVD is because for 4 films it's excellent value and some people may absolutely love these versions anyway. My favorite version of Jane Eyre is the 2006 one starring Ruth Wilson and Toby Stephens, and the version on this set is, in my opinion for what it's worth, dwarfed by the magbificent version by the brilliant acting and atmosphere of the 2006 version, by the two aforementioned actors. I agree with a few other reviewets here who mentioned some mis-casting for certain roles im the other three stories, especially Pride and Prejudice, as neither the stories nor the actors are done justice by being mis-cast, but overall the acting is still excellent on these movies; the costumed; scenery etc are still a pleasure, so I'm glad I got to inform myself about the newer versions by buying the DVD at what I thibk was a bargain price ($9.99), from a really good vendor that shipped it very fast.

This was a great set of movies, delivered quickly, in perfect new condition. Overall quality was great. I definitely think this one is worth your money!

What I do like is the value of buying 4 historical, classic romances for the price of 1. Free. shipping. What I dislike is out of the 4 only 2 are suitable, in my opinion of watching, dt being rated R. On tv the ratings are usually not R. I bought it for Pride %26 Prejudice.

Love 💕 is the themes of these greatest love stories ever told. They will inspire love and make the viewer believe all over again that love is the only true connection with others.
