I got this for a gift, the person I got it for always freezes in the winter from water getting in his western boots. I hope this does the job. Was disappointed that it was not in the store with the application ball, only spray which is a waste of product to apply.

I've been using this hard-to-find liquid water-proofer on my hiking boots for years. There is better coverage and less waste than a spray.
