This is my third set of these phones. I live in a large house and I appreciate the option of adding as many hand sets as needed. As long as you only turn on the answering/messaging function on a single base station you can add as many cordless handsets as you need. These have provided reliable, trouble free service for me.
Bought a while ago and completely satisfied with the reception and ability to pick up any one of three receivers
I went back to having a land line, and this was just perfect. I am surprised at the low price for such a great name brand product. All its features work wonderfully.
We bought this about a month ago and just love it. It has a lot of nice features like Caller ID and Call Waiting and the answering system is very clear and easy to listen to. It is also is small and compact, and the handsets are nice and lightweight phones. Can't beat the price of $39.99 so we thought we would give it a try and so glad we did.
This is my 2nd set of these phones. I like them. My other ones needed new batteries, I decided to get new.
I bought these phones a gift for my mother. We connected then with ease and she loves them. Sound is clear. Just had a time changing the number of rings before the answering machine answered.
I bought this to replace the same make of phone I had for years so was very familiar with how this phone worked. There were a few updated features and it came with one more handset than the old phone. I think my only complaint with this would be that it doesn't feel very secure in the base and as my unit is on a wall I often feel it is going to fall out of the base so I am always careful when placing the handset back in its base. Other than that it works very well and was a good price.
I think I bought this phone about 6 months ago. I have been having problems with people telling us they can't get thru-many months. Today, the screen on 1 phone showed line in use; other 2 I tried I got a dial tone. Tried turning on and off (couple minutes) on the answering module-no luck. Then somehow this same phone started working as I was pushing buttons. I'm going to try another brand and confirm that it is this phone system which is my problem.
This was our second AT&T system. Our two handset system has been working wonderfully for about five or more years. The 3 handset DECT 6.0 phones have mediocre sound quality and extremely poor battery life. The sound quality is so poor my wife refuses to use the phones except in emergencies. I purchased the system because of the lower price. Save your money!
I got this phone home, and it worked fine for about a week. It was replacing a Panasonic I had for over 10 years that worked fine, except that the keys were starting to stick. After the first week, this phone stopped allowing me to call out for days at a time. People calling in couldn't hear me when I answered the phone (and it wasn't the mute button or the volume). If I dialed out, it would beep like it was dialing, but the dial tone wouldn't go away, and I would eventually get a message saying if I wanted to place a call, to hang up and dial again. It simply didn't register the fact that I was dialing. Sometimes it would work for one call, and 10 minutes later it would stop - and then it wouldn't work for days. I thought it might be the intercom program between the handsets, so I took the batteries out of all of them and let them sit overnight. Then I put only the main handset batteries back in place. It worked for a few days, and then quit again. I tried resetting the handsets several times, and each time it would return to a point where it wouldn't call out, or if I answered a call the caller couldn't hear me. The user manual was of no help whatsoever. Using this phone is like gambling, you don't know if you are going to win or lose each time you pick up the handset. Now I have to go buy a new phone because this is a piece of junk. Used to be you could trust AT&T products, but then again, they used to be made in the USA. Don't buy it. Spend your money elsewhere.
