The ringer and day time alarm is loud enough to hear. My other phone was horrible, could not hear when received a call. Alarm would not wake me. This phone is so much better than my other phone. I am glad it is gone. Dropping it in the salt water was the best thing that every happened to that phone. It was a flip 2. Also when typing letters in a text if I wanted to type an A it would place a B or C. It was absolutely horrible to text with....thank you for this phone absolutely fixed my life

My 85 year old mom is having no trouble using this phone. The keys are easy to see. I set it up for her including entering her contacts, as this would have been more than she can currently deal with. This is suitable for someone who is not good (or no longer good) with electronics as long as it is set up. We don't use the internet functions as the small screen is not good for this for the elderly. The call quality is superb. I can hear her better on this phone than I could on her land line.

Family member broke the fairly new Alcatel we bought from ATT last year and since that model is no longer available we needed another flip and this was the best choice. Its a fine replacement but we are learning a new system all over again to get it up and running for our 96 yo family member.

Bought this phone for a digital detox experiment. So far I have been pleased with it. It's nice having a battery that last more than a day. Texting on T9 has been a blast from the past. Flip phones have come a long way since I had one in high school, this sucker has google maps, email, and youtube! I get that it's target audience is probably older folks and emerging tech markets but I did wish it had a bit more robust settings that could be tweaked. Other than that minor nit pick this phone has been perfect. I've been using it instead of my iPhone 8 Plus for about a week now. It has been so nice to unplug from all the dings, pings, and chimes that demand my attention on my smart phone.

I had to go to ATT store twice to get assistance copying contacts! Got lucky when Jacob helped me! Had to cut down the SIM card to fit in the new phone, but it worked! It's cumbersome to navigate the features, have to go on line to have access to owners manuaL! This phone is for my 92 year old mom. Needed to be basic like her LG flip phone we can no longer get!

It's simple to use, and well designed in terms of hardware, but the printed instructions are confusing and the Google Voice Assistant is too challenging from the elderly relative that we bought the phone for. I would rather totally disable it, though I am hoping she will get used to it. I also can't find a way to turn off the predictive text, though I will keep looking, which is extremely frustrating.

It's a phone. There's nothing special about it. We picked this one because it was the closest thing to the Samsung rugby flip phone, which was an awesome phone. My hands were forced because they're doing away with 3G, so I had to find something else. It comes with a basic instruction pamphlet, but the instruction booklet is available online in pdf form, but it's 86 pages. I don't think this phone even has 86 functions. I see myself ripping the front off one of these days. Accidentally of course, because it's just that flimsy.

Not very intuitive. Manual does not cover everything. Had to learn simple processes by trial and error. Still can't figure out how to call someone from my contacts without having to press OK 3 times. Can't figure out how get rid of choice to call or RTT CALL when I look up a contact (I don't need that at this time)-unnecessary xtra step in calling. Very disappointing

It's a crappy little phone. I knew when I bought it. I needed a phone for my elderly parents to just make phone calls. It does that. Conversely, I wish it was larger and had larger buttons for arthritic hands. I realize flip phones are big sellers, but there is still a population out there in need of an easy to use "old style" phone for safe living.

I got this phone for my parents and its over the top-- the whole reason someone buys a flip phone is for simplicity. this phone has too much bells & whistles. there is no need for youtube, mail, etc to be installed on this phone. This phone was incredibly complicated to set up (and I have an iPhone, so this should of been easy)
