AT&T CL82229 2 Handset Cordless Expandable Answering System with Smart Call Block, Rose Gold

I had an older version of this phone and liked the easy installation and use. This newer model has 2 functions that are very attractive: the phone announces who is calling, so I don't have to rush to get the receiver and potentially trip or fall, and it has an easy "block calls" function. Love it

Very easy to install. The hardest part of the whole process is getting the battery cover to lock into place on the back of the phone. If you don't have really good strength in your hands, you may have problems with this. The phone looks really nice and I love the rose gold color. It works good and has a loud ring if you put it on 5 or 6. I also like that you can block spam calls easily.

I bought this phone for my parents who are in their mid 80s. They absolutely love it! They were going nuts getting robo and spam calls every 10 minutes for years. This phone took all of that away. I guess it weeds them out. Yes, sometimes it weeds wanted calls out, too, but the trade off is worth it.

I still need a landline for my mom %26 these phones are great. They're lightweight %26 definitely easy to use as the push button numbers are larger than our older cordless phone. Set up was easy, so was programming relatives numbers %26 the battery holds a long charge.

These work great, especially compared to VTech brand landline phones. The answering machine will "tell you" out loud whose calling on caller ID and you can hear the message. Definitely a simpler option for house phones, easy to use and easier to hear during phone calls.

This was so easy to setup. It has been a hot minute since I've had a house phone so I had to read the instructions but it also has a voice setup help option that was helpful. The only thing I can say is I wish the volume could go up a little more. On max volume it's still little too low for me. I love how it's pink though. The ringer is very loud which is great.

I will use these phones because I have them now and don't want to go through the trouble of returning them. I think they are to computerized. Just wanted a phone. Made cheap and numbers so not light very bright, hard to see. Not recommended. To cheap for AT%26T. expected more with name.

The phone set was fairly easy to set up and I liked that it came with speed dialing, as well as other convenient features. However, the phone screen constantly shows a "New Voicemail" message, even though there is no voicemail and the base shows "0" messages. The only way to remove the "New Voicemail" message on the screen is to unplug and re-plug the phone. But once the phone rings, that message pops up again. It's very annoying, but since it has other features which I was looking for, I'll just keep it.

Did not like the operation of this phone. I tried two others and all of them were hard to understand, and the instructions were very small and the new stuff your putting in very hard to understand. please just put older type on the market

Out bound calls people cannot hear me talking it fades in and out… no matter if on speaker or not people complain of not being able to hear…. I speak louder and it doesn't help- or because of it fading then I sound like I'm yelling. Extremely unhappy
