AT&T CL82229 2 Handset Cordless Expandable Answering System with Smart Call Block, Rose Gold

I had an older version of this phone and liked the easy installation and use. This newer model has 2 functions that are very attractive: the phone announces who is calling, so I don't have to rush to get the receiver and potentially trip or fall, and it has an easy "block calls" function. Love it

I bought this phone for my parents who are in their mid 80s. They absolutely love it! They were going nuts getting robo and spam calls every 10 minutes for years. This phone took all of that away. I guess it weeds them out. Yes, sometimes it weeds wanted calls out, too, but the trade off is worth it.

These work great, especially compared to VTech brand landline phones. The answering machine will "tell you" out loud whose calling on caller ID and you can hear the message. Definitely a simpler option for house phones, easy to use and easier to hear during phone calls.

So far so good. . . I love everything about this phone, especially the spam blocking feature...that's my favorite!! And the fact that it allows you to review the calls that attempted to reach you without stating their name, makes the phone that much better. . .you'll never hear their call coming through, but the number will show up in the missed call log!! It was easy to set up, and the quality of the sound while on a call, is excellent on both ends...unless you have your mouth too close to the mic. And the color is beautiful too!! I love how the numbers light up when you're trying to dial in the dark. When a person calls, they must state their name in order to get through; when you answer the call, the system gives you the option to lock their number in (or not), so they'll never have to state their name again. It'll also allow you to answer the call without locking their number in, so they'll have to state their name every time they call you. Great job AT%26T!!

Very easy to install. The hardest part of the whole process is getting the battery cover to lock into place on the back of the phone. If you don't have really good strength in your hands, you may have problems with this. The phone looks really nice and I love the rose gold color. It works good and has a loud ring if you put it on 5 or 6. I also like that you can block spam calls easily.

This was so easy to setup. It has been a hot minute since I've had a house phone so I had to read the instructions but it also has a voice setup help option that was helpful. The only thing I can say is I wish the volume could go up a little more. On max volume it's still little too low for me. I love how it's pink though. The ringer is very loud which is great.

so far I love the phone. it was pretty easy to set up, the color is absolutely gorgeous, the value was a good value I got it on sale. and so far so good. the quality of listening on the phone is good the ringers are good, I'm able to see the buttons, they are perfect for my vision, it's all backlit, everything is as advertised. absolutely love the phone. and I'm so happy I got it in my favorite color rose gold pink. that much better

I will use these phones because I have them now and don't want to go through the trouble of returning them. I think they are to computerized. Just wanted a phone. Made cheap and numbers so not light very bright, hard to see. Not recommended. To cheap for AT%26T. expected more with name.

Did not like the operation of this phone. I tried two others and all of them were hard to understand, and the instructions were very small and the new stuff your putting in very hard to understand. please just put older type on the market

Out bound calls people cannot hear me talking it fades in and out… no matter if on speaker or not people complain of not being able to hear…. I speak louder and it doesn't help- or because of it fading then I sound like I'm yelling. Extremely unhappy
