I got this phone as a backup. I use an iphone as a daily driver. I bought it during a deal with a gift card that made this around 40 dollars. So my review might be a bit biased. With that said, it's a great phone. The low battery mode is amazing and gets me days of battery life. For casual usage like browsing, watching movies, and reading this phone doesn't really heat up. I'm bringing this up because S22 is known for heating issues, but that's probably for people who's gaming on this. Side note: I ended up buying the Samsung LED case to go with this and that's honestly very very neat haha. Would recommend
An excellent phone even if it is now 3 years old. It is still fast for a phone and my daily apps. I'm not a gamer so can't speak to that. Throw on a screen protector and a case and it will go on for another couple years, and possibly longer.
excellent phone, simple easy steps
It's clearly a well made and engineered phone.
First of all, I'm a big Samsung fan. I have owned 5 Samsung Galaxy phones since the beginning. However, this highly anticipated S22+ is a huge disappointment. If you look at the specification, you can see this phone is significantly inferior to the S20 series (the model that was released 2 years ago). Here are the spec downgrades I noticed (comparing S20+ to S22+): 1. Screen Resolution dropped from QHD (3200 x 1440) to FHD (2340 x 1080) 2. S22/S22+ Ram dropped from 12GB to 8 GB; S22 Ultra Ram dropped from 16GB to 12GB. 3. MicroSD slot is removed 4. Pressure testing shows that the new CPU Snapdragon 8 Gen 1's performance is worse than Apple's A13 Chip (The one that's in iPhone 11 - the 2019 model). What's worse, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1's performance is also more unstable than last year's Snapdragon 888's performance. 5. The screen has downgraded from curved screen to flat screen 6. Screen size shrunk from S20+'s 6.7" display to S22+'s 6.6" display. 7. No charger included 8. No headset included I undertand Samsung wants to make more money, and I am very disappointed that's what Samsung decided to do - significantly downgrading it's flagship devices, while still selling at a premium price. No wonder the sales of the Samsung's S series has been down over the past two years. Hope they wake up soon.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Should have done my homework I guess. Coming from an s10+ I was disappointed with what actually doesn't come with these phones anymore. No charge block, no earphone jack, and the one thing that really set Samsung apart from Apple products......the expandable storage, the micro sd card slot. I despised Apple IPhone because of this along with having to do everything thru ITunes. These phones aren't any different than Iphones any longer.
This was the worst buying online phone experience ever, no documentation was sent and the shipping longer than the three days which made it impossible to payoff the phone on time to avoid the extra $35 fee that AT%26T charges. After the order was placed, AT%26T did not sent any confirmation email, their website is incredibly buggy and ID %26 PW reset pages refused to load properly on three(!) different browsers. People...no matter how awesome a AT%26T deal may be...avoid the headache and just go with other carrier deals. Your sanity and time is more valuable than the deal.
This is the 3rd phone I ordered via walmart website. I had to stay online with Samsung to get a repair request initated (over an hour). Why does this keep happening, and why won't walmart accept returns when the web page says so. This is so bogus.
Not for the faint heart. you will be bounced around from att to walmart, both pointing fingers at each other. "NO RETURN POLICY" .Jump thru lot of hoops to get my own phone number , spent 5 hours , chat good for nothing .ATT corp store employees lying and asking me to call walmart.
This phone has a design flaw that cause the speaker in the phone to crackle and distort after flying or even walking out of an air conditioned building on a hot day. I have two one for work and one for personal use. both phones have this issue and samsung will not fix the problem with their design. stay away from this phone if you fly or live in a hot area.
