A great phone for a wonderful price, this TCL prepaid smartphone uses Android 12, the latest OS at a fraction of the price. a wonderful buy!!
Phone arrived quickly and exceeded my expectations. Was easy to activate camera is good please games and downloads apps with ease definitely happy and would recommend
I liked that it got delivered but I just don't like where they put it they should've put it by the garage door not the front porch because people might steal it and I wasn't home so I don't know if it's still there or not
the boyfriend gets a new phone about every 6 months cause of his job. he's continuously breaking the screens, dropping them, or they mysteriously get damaged. decided to go the less expensive way and get him this phone. after 3 weeks, this one is still in tact. if this holds up, I will definitely be buying this phone again.
Beware, you will have to go to a physical Walmart store to get this activated, I had read about this in another review but I was hopeful they would not make the same mistake, but it seems it happens either most or all of the time. They need to fix this or at least warn people about this MAJOR inconvenience, what is the point of buying it from an online store if you have to go to a physical store just to be able to use the darn thing! Whether it's sold through Walmart or not it is sold through their own website, at least a warning would be helpful... This is ridiculous! I believe once my son can use this phone it will be quite decent; but he can't even use it til I go to a physical store and have them activate it.
I purchased this to replace my 8 yr old smartphone which was dying on me. Unfortunately I no longer drive, that is why I purchased it online. Aside from becoming ill . I finally had my friend help me out with numerous errands one day. Took it to the Att store. The employee started to attempt to use the phone. The ports were all damaged. Lucky that I was next headed to Walmart to return some items. The employee at the Att store was extremely helpful. He wrote a quick note about the ports his first name and the phone number of the store. The 'kid'manager had to assist the cashier with each individual item I was returning. Each item was Non-returnable on the Walmart computer at the service desk. The clerk had even twisted her computer screen to show me. And on my cellphone, the Walmart app, simply said return by April 4th and April 6th Nothing about the items not listed as Non-returnable. Never take the word of the customer service employee when they tell you that the item is not returnable. Plus the manager messed with the phones ports making the damaged ports even more damaged He took a paper clip and struck it in a port. Then he spit In to the one port and lastly he took canned air and blew that into the ports. It is my understanding that blowing canned air into a port does damage the port. And he had called Arkansas (home of Walmart for assistance). No one seemed to have any answers. So fortunately for me I had cash on me for a change I made sure that if I took the merchandise and paid for it and even standing there and said I would like to return this stuff would it clear up the problems Well I did get money back twice . Once for the orginal payment and again for the payment to make sure that the computer system recognized the items as being returnable. Unfortunately I have to shop by phone and I either realize the same day I received my item that I will need to return it. And no car means I can't get right back to the store. ....Walmart and other stores doing business via the internet need to take a at using a multi invoice system A copy for the sore, a copy for you, and a copy for the warehouse. Good luck and fight for your refund on the returns.
walmart stores doesnt mark it as sold when they deliver it (2nd time this has happened w 2 differentstores). so when you go to activate it or swap sims it will dont work %26 have to go back to store to try to get it to work which ends up being a huge hassle that they dont seem to help resolve. so end up fighting w att to try to get it activated %26 that doesnt always work . my son cant even put sim back in old phone since that has been locked for walmart not marking phone sold so att locked sim card.
The Walmart associate DID NOT activate the phone. When I put my SIM card in it, it locked up because it thought the phone was stolen. I had to go to Walmart and get a whole new phone, but it still didn't work because of my locked SIM card. I had to change my number and everything. Please be more careful when someone buys a phone through Walmart plus delivery.
Trying to activate this phone has been a nightmare! After purchasing the phone online %26 purchasing a plan from AT%26T I couldn't activate it. It kept saying that there was a problem with the activation and the phone had to be returned to the store where it was purchased for them to complete the activation. I took it to 3 different Wal-Mart stores but none of them could help me. They said they don't do prepaid phones. As of this writing, I still have not gotten it activated. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this phone online. Once you pay for it no one will accept responsibility for it and you get bounced back and forth between Wal-Mart and AT%26T. My only option is to return the phone for a refund and lose the money I spent for a plan. This is so frustrating to get no help from anyone and no one seems to care that I am now out the money I already spent on a plan, not to mention the time %26 travel to try to get it activated. If you purchase this phone be forewarned!
Received phone through delivery activated phone paid phone plan for month then phone stopped working and come to find out after much time on the phone that it was NOT SCANNED before it left the store! Waste of time and money but how was it I could set it up no problem then they swoop in and cut it off.
