I had a wired headset for my home office that died. I wanted a Bluetooth two line phone for my home and business lines. This works perfectly. Both the desk phone and cordless have excellent speakerphones. Bluetooth is awesome. I paired a Bluetooth headset with the desk phone. My cellphone sends calls to the desk phone or cordless. So when I am home I can use one phone to receive all my calls. I do not use the answering machine so I cannot comment on it. The soft touch menu on the desk phone takes a bit of getting used to, but is very simple once you do. The only downside I have found is the lack of an indicator light when I have voice mails (through Verizon) waiting. They appear on the LCD, but I miss the obvious red light of my older phone. Walmart price was cheaper than any where else. Shipping was as promised. Cordless handset range is awesome. I set the phone so that only my business line rings. Home calls are silent. Note you have to make this setting on both the desk phone and the cordless. Great phone and features for the money.
I ordered the 2 line ATT TL86109 DECT thru Walmart to pick up at the store near me. It was there before promised. I office from home. This is a great 2 line phone set with some features I didnt think I would ever use. The set up was easier than I thought it would be too. I have a Plantronics Blue Tooth set up on it and I can answer calls etc. from anywhere in my home hands free. I have my cell phone set up on it too. That way I can answer my cell, home and office calls from one wireless handset from anywhwere within range (and it has good range).
Great phone... lots of awesome features. Just wish they made one without the answering machine since so many telephone companies offer voicemail.
Easy to swap with our old system
Easy to install, clear reception on portable phones. A little bit of work to see the call log but meets my expectations.
I wanted a corded phone in case the power went out. This one is corded with a cordless which allows me flexibility to move about. The tone quality is good and the instructions for installing, recording a message, playing messages, etc. were easy to understand. I had it installed and running in no time.
This 2 line answering system was exactly what I needed. This system is for my business and had all the options I was looking for, from the two lines, answering machine, and one cordless receiver. The installation was easy. The only thing I have not been able to do, is store a number into speed dial. I have followed the directions in the manual, but have not been successful in this endeavor.
I bought this for 1 person office use. It lacks a few features that I believe should be standard on any desk phone. The screen is large but shows very limited information. It does NOT show caller ID info when listening to a message nor does it show the date and time the message was left. It says the date and time at the beginning of the message but I want to see it on the screen. You have to remember the date and time after listening to the message and then go back to the CID menu to look up the corresponding Caller ID entry. Really ???!!! Also all my other desk phones show the current date and time on the screen when in standby mode but not this one. I reference that frequently. I returned this phone and will be going with the Panasonic or Uniden which have these features.
Hard to use if you only need 1 line. Hard to get messages. Bought a easier 1 for older employees to use.
The handsets loose connection to the base daily. The range and battery life are also a disappointment being used in a one story open building.
