Works well so far.
Wasn't sure this would work on my re-do of the fuel system on a vintage wood v8 runabout. Nice quality, good size and works so far with very little use. Knowing that it didn't come with hose fittings was a plus so I had them on hand.

Freedom from Worry
Just bought a 2004 Key Largo 160CC. With the boat having an internal fuel tank, and being the third owner, I had no way of knowing the debris/water content of the fuel tank. I researched the ratings and prices of several fuel/water separators and the Attwood seems to fit my needs. Consumer ratings are high. Filters are readily available and inexpensive. Installation was quick and easy. Being dual ported, it is possible, if desired, to carry an extra fuel tank and run it through the filter also. Kit was complete with the exception of brass fittings to connect to your size fuel hoses, and gas resistant tape to seal the fittings. I also bought stainless hose clamps, just to be sure. Took the boat out and after initial priming, the motor ran smooth. Looking forward to running this tank empty and then I will change the filter and know debris in the tank went into the trash. Freedom from just one more thing to worry about. If you do not have a fuel/water separator, do yourself a favor and get one. I like this one.

Works pretty good with 150 hp mix 50:1 oil/fuel. haven't had any problems yet!

This fuel/water separator is a very sturdy unit, and I liked the spin-on filter design. It had a piece of swarf stuck inside the unit left over from manufacturing, so I had to clean it prior to installation. I had an emergency situation, and Walmart had this unit on in stock, on a Saturday afternoon! Very handy!

Incomplete
This does not come with the fittings and plugs to use it. Expect to spend another $15.00 to $20.00 at an auto parts store getting the required fittings and plugs.
