12v power point for my motorcycle.
I installed this on my motorcycle in less then 15 minutes and it's perfect. The fact that when you insert your adapter into the outlet and with a half turn it locks in place is great feature. You can also remove the the T-base mount if you don't need it. The construction is sturdy and the rubber pieces are flexible and make a nice seal. I was concerned about the short wires that were supplied because I did not want any splices in my installation but you can simply unplug the wires from the back of the outlet and make your own using a standard quick connect.

Has detent notches.
Has detent notches to keep plug securely inserted. Handy. Very nice to have in order to prevent spring loaded center contact of plug from pushing plug loose. Reasonable price.

Attwood is a dependable company
Bought this item as a Christmas present for grandson. I understand that it works very well for his intended purpose. He is using it as an auxillary power source on his customised golf cart.
