Attwood 8-Pound Slip-Ring Penetrating Fluke Anchor

Holds well in most area. We have a pontoon & we currently are using 3 anchors during current in Amelia & Kingsley Rivers. This's added helps fight drift a bit more.

Not much to say really. Its a 13 pound anchor that looks just like the pictures and weighs 13 pounds

Great anchor for the price. Saved at least $40 over the marina's price.

Does the job as described

I chose to get an anchor rated for a larger boat than I have since I didn't want to get dragged around by the current or wind. It is still easy to handle and seems to work quite well on the shallow sand bar where we swim. I also got the 1/4 inch by 4 foot vinyl coated anchor chain with this purchase and was surprised by how much vinyl coating there was-lots! Good purchase may have gotten it cheaper else where but the shipping was included and convenient pick-up options with Wal-mart. Also the shipping time was about 2 weeks faster than originally told!

Only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is the traveling ring seems so thin compared to the loop it slides on-seems like a failure point. May just cut it off and shackle directly to loop. Otherwise seems like a decent anchor for price and stows easy

For the second time, I bought an anchor from Walmart and it was not the advertised weight. This "13" pound anchor weighs about 9 pounds.

This anchor only weighed 6.6 pounds. (Not Thirteen Pounds as the product name would indicate, nor the 8 pounds the product description on the Attwood Web Site retrieved 4/3/2018 would indicate.
